Had an okay experience living here. However when it came to moving out I could not reach anyone in the office. I called for days and left voicemails, yet I still did not receive a single response. The one time someone did pick up the phone they told me to come in the following day so that I could pay my move out fee… I live pretty far away now. I went all the way back out to Palermo just to find out the office was closed for a company event. There is NO CLEAR communication from this leasing team.

Greedy business. You pay a 400 dollars 'security deposit' but this money really is for to pay a professional cleaning service to clean your apartment after you move out, essentially they are making you pay for a professional cleaning service to clean your apartment. I was due to move out of my apartment 31 May 2022 which I succeeded and about a week later I received a letter in the mail saying that I OWE Palermo an additional $145.04 as part of move out charges, for a total of $545.04, NO AMOUNT of my 'security deposit' was returned to me, and my apartment was not in terrible condition when I moved out. Also when I first moved into Palermo the monthly rent was 1395 which was alright (I could afford it) but for the next year they wanted me to pay 400 dollars more totaling 1795 for a mediocre single bedroom apartment, but I was able to ask for a reduction of 200 dollars for a price of 1595 per month excluding costs of utilities in both cases, with utilities the total price would reach nigh 1500 for my first year and then almost 1655 for my second year. I bought out of my lease agreement the second year before the contract was due to expire and they decide the buyout price as 2x monthly rent, so the buyout price for myself was $3150! PLUS THE NEXT MONTH OF RENT! for a total of $4725!! Their prices are WAY too expensive and the apartments really are not high quality! Greedy business! I wish they would be out of business. However, the Lakeland Hills area is very nice and Palermo is right next to Haggens, but Haggens is a very expensive grocery market. I recommend that you find another place to stay, Palermo is too expensive and greedy.

My car has been broken into and vandalized, my neighbor was mugged and robbed of her precious dog in broad daylight, other residents apartments have been broken into multiple times, so basically I do not feel safe and do not feel I should be paying as much as I do to live here.

I loved living here! The area is quiet, and management has always been great to me. Any issues I had in the apartment (my dryer overheated, bulbs out) got fixed almost immediately. Parking can be a little insane if you need more thanone parking spot,, but that is my 9joy complaint. Upon moving out, the staff went above and beyond to help me figure out my best options. The actual apartments are great too, especially for the price.
