We got to first and union kitchen as it was about to close for the day. Our waitress was very nice and got our drinks and helped us with the menu. I ordered the Reuben on sourdough dough bread with fries. My wife had the panini with salad. Our sandwiches were good and tasty. It was good food and we took our time eating not knowing the restaurant had closed. The staff didn't hurry us out or let us know they had already closed so we sat and talked for a bit until we asked for the bill. Then we noticed that the closed sign was on. They told us we were fine and not to hurry. We paid our bill and thanked the staff for their patience. The food was good and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be coming back at a more reasonable time to enjoy another meal at First & Union Kitchen.

Great service and amazing food! I had the Florentine eggs Benedict but instead of sautéed spinach, I got fresh! the hollandaise sauce was very rich and creamy, very professionally prepared too, Great all around!

I had a lovely time here having a nice breakfast. Even though it was busy, we were seated and received our order fast. I ordered blueberry pancakes but has wished I ordered the Egg Benedict after seeing my partners order. Cant wait to come back. (Most recent visit we tried the quiche. Fluffy eggy goodness!)
