Maryann has been an extremely reliable and pleasant help to the family. In a time where many HCA workers are negligent towards their clients in private homes it’s refreshing to have access to an employee that is the opposite of that. She treats her clients with respect and dignity at all times. Look forward to having her assist us in the future as well

I have been working at HCA for almost a year and have such a great experience with the staff. The one person who goes above and beyond for the staff is MaryAnn. I can always depend on her. She makes my job easier and always count on her. She listens and makes time for the caregivers. It is very much appreciated by me and I just want to say thank you MaryAnn. Being a caregiver is hard but having a strong support team in the office means it's one less thing to worry about.

The staff here has been nothing short of incredible. Everyone here is respectful and so kind. The warmth my family felt while we were here was so refreshing. In particular, Ms. MaryAnn went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met in full. Give them a call, and you will surely see what I mean. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of home care assistance.

I've been in the senior services sector for over 12 years now assisting homeowners with their reverse mortgage needs. Over those years, I've personally witnessed and have had the opportunity to refer many different home care assistance companies. With that as background, I can tell you from what I've seen, Home Care Assistance is at the very top of my list. They are extremely responsive, answering initial inquiry calls on nights and weekends. They are courteous and understanding in dealing with family members. And, they are excellent and designing and implementing a care plan that fits the needs of that person, and flexible when that plan needs adjustments. When it was time for my great friend, Floyd, to have more assistance around his home due to declining health, it was a no-brainer to call up my trusted contact, Nicey Hilton at Home Care Assistance, and introduce her to Floyd and his family. It's really gratifying on both a professional level and on a personal level to partner with such a top notch company. I highly recommend their services.

If you value safety, security, and reliability, yes. A quality home care agency is insured and also manages the performance and scheduling of its caregivers, handles billing and payrol, and has back-up caregivers to fill in when needed. With a private hire caregiver, you’re responsible for setting up payroll and withholding taxes, caregiver vetting and background checks, and purchasing sufficient liability insurance to cover any accidents or injuries in the home.
We follow infection mitigation best practices and safety protocols, informed by the CDC and local authorities, and provide appropriate PPE to our caregivers. The majority of our caregivers and Care Team members are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Home care is typically billed by the hour, so the cost depends on the number of care hours per week and can vary slightly by region. Most families pay out-of-pocket for their care or use long-term care insurance.
The best caregiver is an experienced professional who has the training and skills to support your loved one’s care needs. It’s also imporatnt to find a caregiver who’s extremely reliable, has back-up if necessary, and is a good fit in terms of personality and shared interests.
Home care is a supportive service provided by a professional caregiver in the home or community where a resident lives (in addition to facility supports) for peace of mind, companionship, and personal care. Caregivers can perform tasks such as running errands, preparing meals, assisting in the shower, fall prevention, and initiating brain stimulation activities to stimulate cognitive function.
