We found our new family member at PFOA. This place is wonderful, so careful to match prospective owners with the right kitty! Thank you so much!

Best place ever to get a cat. It's a huge house with rooms full of cat trees and toys. They have access to wonderful outside play yards. All are tested. Extremely caring and knowledgeable staff. Plan on volunteering in the future.

Do I have to make a appointment to see the friends?

Hi Pam Yes, we would appreciate if you called first if you have never been here before. That way someone can give you a tour & show you around & tell you anything special you might need to know about the cats. If you are looking to adopt & not just visit, then you should first talk with our Shelter Director, Nancy. She can then recommend what cats would work for your situation. Either way please give us a call at 360 452-0414 Ext 2 or 3 & we can set up a time that works for you. Thanks for you inquiry. Patti

How much does it cost to spay a female cat through your facility? I am trying to find something affordable. Local vets are charging $300, which is difficult in the middle of a pandemic.

Hi We do not spay/neuter cats here at our shelter. We do have a program to spay/neuter the pets of low income people & the charge is on a sliding scale depending on your income. Please call us at 360 452-0414 Ext #4 (you could also use ext # 2, 3 or 6) & we can see if we can help you. Thank you for your inquiry.

I am looking to get a couple of rescue goats, dwarf or pygmy. Do you have any or know of someone who does?

We don't have any goats, only cats! Try Center Valley Rescue in Quilcene Their number is 360 765-0598 There is also a place called Puget Sound Goat Rescue goatsave.org 425 444-6591 Good Luck

Do you have dogs?

No it's kitty cats only. The Humane Society and WAG have dogs to adopt. 💗👍 We DO help with spay and neuter for both dogs and cats.
