Excellent food. Picture included to show the perfect medium rare cook on their steak. The steak was really fresh, cut through like butter and tasted amazing. Cute little cafe!

First off, when writing a review, I like to stick with facts and leave petty insults for the petty. So, today was my first experience to have a meal from Shirley's Cafe. 2 of my kids live in PA and I come here for work nearly every year. I usually make breakfast but decided to splurge and door dash breakfast for my boys and I. I had the biscuits and sausage gravy with a side of bacon. The bacon was fine, chewy, not crispy, but I like either way. The biscuits and gravy were very mediocre. They were very bland and I had to salt and pepper quite a bit to get some flavor. Normally your gravy with seasoned sausage should be the only seasoning you need. There was not much sausage in the gravy but the gravy was sort of thick, like a jelly and the biscuits were a little doughy tasting. I was not a big fan, but it wasn't terrible. My sons had chicken fried steak and eggs and hashbrowns. They both said theirs tasted good and had no complaints. They are generally not real picky eaters though and just thankful when they don't have to cook themselves. 😄😄

Great food! Friendly service! Very entertaining décor. I had the 3 egg omelet with the works. One of the few times I have had to box up left overs. Fellow diner had the corned beef hash. I'll try that next time. Check out the model train that runs the entire circumference of the restaurant, too. Glad I live only 5 minutes away (4 if I hit the lights just right). 👍👍

My family and I were visiting from Tacoma, WA looking for a breakfast spot to eat in Port Angeles and we came across Shirley's Cafe. When my family and I walked in, we automatically didn't feel welcomed by the servers. One of them with a tattoo sleeve actually gave us a dirty look and avoided our table at all costs. They told us to "sit wherever we'd like" but there wasn't a table big enough for seven. The only table that was available for seven had a two top on it.... so of course, they had to push tables together and two of us had to sit separately from the rest of our family. The whole restaurant looked like a dump. Everything is brown and not welcoming at all. Random toy train that goes through the restaurant as well that doesn't match up with a theme at all. The restaurant looks like it belongs on Kitchen Nightmares. Aside from wretched interior and servers having side conversations about our party, the food matched just the same. Overpriced and underwhelming. Their food is definitely frozen. My family and I were charged $107 for food that I could microwave at home. If you have money to waste, I still wouldn't come here. I wish I could give no stars but Google wouldn't let me.

We take safety protocols very seriously. We have a grandson with special needs, so we have been extra careful the last year.
