I adopted both my cats here six years apart. The extremely friendly staff here helped me schedule visitation and made my adoption process super easy. Would recommend adopting cats and dogs from this place!

Thank you so much for everything! Thanks to this wonderful shelter and staffs, we could finally adopt the one that we wished for so long time. We are now a happy family of 3 with Mir, the cutest <3 During the day we adopted him, we were so worried about him because he didn’t eat at all and threw up many times. Paws’s staffs were very helpful when we called them and now he eats and sleeps so well! We highly recommend this shelter and hope that all kitties will find their sweet home soon. Thank you :)

i got my first kitten here! he was 2 months old and now he is over 3 months. the workers and volunteers did a great job keeping all the cats healthy and happy. they also helped me a lot with choosing a kitten and raising him. this place is really the best option if you want to adopt a cat. they love and respect all the cats there!!

Go to your doctor and tell him the reason you need your animal to be a service pet, i.e. emotional support, helps relieve anxiety etc. Doctor should give you paper that's in agreement, if not get a new doctor. I take my cat to the movies with me. You have to have the paperwork on you. There you be.
Hello Nancy, we are terribly sorry for the delayed response. PAWS Companion Animal Shelter is open for cat and dog adoptions by appointment only so please visit our website to read about the process and get started today! https://www.paws.org/adopt/ Thank you!
Hello Sayuri, We're sorry for the delay in a response. You can find tons of information on our website about how kids can help animals at PAWS here https://www.paws.org/education/youth-projects/. Thanks!
Unfortunately, PAWS does not currently have the resources to bring companion animals available for adoption offsite to community locations. We do have two locations you can visit to see our adoptable animals and they are always posted to our website at paws.org. Thank you for your interest in PAWS.
Cat City does not have facilities to accept new adoptions. Their shelter in Lynnwood can help tho.
Hello Linda, Thanks for asking. The best way to find the answer to your question is to fill our the kitten adoption questionairre at paws.org/adopt/cats. There is a link below the adoptable cats that will help you with your kitten question. Thank you!

Paws can help, here's the link about rehoming your pet: https://www.paws.org/cats-and-dogs/cant-keep-your-pet/when-paws-can-help/ I am very sorry it's not working out. 😓
We are a fully-operational shelter and wildlife rehabilitation center with two locations. Main shelter with dogs, cats and wildlife rehab is conveniently located in Lynnwood and a cat exclusive location is located in Seattle called PAWS Cat City. Viist paws.org for complete detials on our organization. Thank you for your interest in PAWS.
errr... This isn't really the right place to ask about availability of animals. PAWS has a web site that shows you all available animals, and you can stop by during business hours.
Yes although when I adopted they recommended a pair and in my experience it was very good advice.
Depends on the animal, but we have adopted out cats to families before. source: am currently volunteering
You will need to meet with a few to see if their personality and behavior will meet your needs. You will also need to speak to a medical provider to sign documents confirming the need of a service animal for you
All the cats here are socialized in a group of other age related rooms. You should always bring the household with you during introductions to see which personalities will best fit your family
We adopted a kitten from PAWS and they were very inviting to return the kitten to them if we were unable to keep her. Therefore, I assume they would accept kitten donations.
