Sometimes the machines eat your money or dryer doesnt heat up. I dont mind the houseless people hanging out, they deserve clean clothes too, but the reason i wont return to this laundromat is the last time i was there the dryers had tall flames behind the drums, and the owner minimized it (though he gave me back my money from the machine not working right). Something about gas powered dryers and the literal flames i saw didnt strike me as safe. I will say that the owner did seem to be updating the machines, so maybe its better now.

Last time I went to Suds Ur Duds Laundromat will be the last time. There were several homeless beggars in and around the property. Graffiti and trash were all over the walls and the floor. The soap dispenser in the bathroom had been ripped off of the wall. And the coin return wasn't workin'. This laundromat has become a homeless hangout with what appeared to be people sleepin' inside the buildin' after hours. If those security cameras actually work then clearly nobody is watchin'. I'd even go so far as to say that, it felt plain dangerous.

I have called the duds twice now with no reply. This seems to be the norm for laundry matt owners. After being there today no wonder the ratings are Sooo Low. The place is Very Dark with Poor lighting. The rug looks to be Many Years Old like the Machines. One other customer confirmed Yes The Machines are Ancient. I had Only a Very Small amount of Clothes a few Socks 3 Underwear after about $2.00 they were still Damp. The place has the look of an owner who has let things go. Many machines out of order or just Not working properly.

So far so good ! The times I've been here to do my laundry it's been pretty quiet and the machines I used all worked great. Seems the dryers break down a bit, but the ones that you couldn't use last time were fixed this time. It was cleaner this time, too ... I guess it's always a little different any day at a laundromat. Best to bring your own quarters !! And maybe some extra to share if the change machines are out-of-order. Edit: Taking away a couple stars because last time I tried to come here to do my laundry, there was a loiterer inside with no mask on, and as I wondered what to do, someone else walked in casually without a mask as well. I'm not extremely germaphobic but it was just sad. Probably not coming back unless it's completely deserted. Then again, the door is always closed so you're probably breathing everyone else's air that came in before you anyhow, whether masked or not.
