I purchased a new bedroom set from the Hampton House. After wasting my time at Gardner White, my family recommended them. Having lived in Washington Township for over ten years, I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve driven by this place and not paid them any mind. I wish I would have went there first. At Gardner White, most of the floor models were dreadful. The headboards weren’t solid. The dresser drawers were horribly lined up. Everything was particle board. My original bed set was from IKEA, and compared to Gardner White, it blew everything I saw out of the water… Until I found the Amish section. Sturdy and well made. But there was an eight to twelve month wait. Oh, and a queen sized bed frame, a chest of drawers, and a bed side table was just under $10,000. Enter Hampton House. I walked in wearing a sweatshirt and gym pants. Not exactly the clothing that screams “Big Spender.” Jim Canestraight greeted me almost instantly and directed me to the bed set section. No joke, I appreciated it. This place is a maze. All kidding aside, once I told Jim what I was looking for he pointed out three bedroom sets I would be interested in. He was absolutely spot on. I wound up ordering a Kincaid bed set made of solid maple and ash. We’re talking three, American-made pieces that cost me HALF of what Gardner White wanted. It’s worth pointing out that I double checked the prices from online retailers against the Hampton House and they won without question. I’ll always support local, but I’m not a sucker. Hampton House was $200-300 cheaper than the online retailers, even after delivery. It was a no brainer. This has turned into a long review, but I feel it was necessary and worthwhile. Jim told me my furniture would arrive in about three to six months. Considering how long it takes to get anything these days, he was right on the money. Under promise and over deliver. I had it in less than three months. He is a wonderful salesman. I see a lot of negativity on their Facebook page and Google reviews. Please don’t blame the store when things are the fault of the manufacturer. My whole family has purchased furniture from Hampton House and we’ve all been blown away by the quality of their furniture, staff, and delivery team. I’m literally heading there tomorrow to look at bar stools, a couch, and a bookshelf. Don’t waste your time elsewhere. Just go to Hampton House.

We bought our Flex-Steel Sectional from Glen. It was a great experience. I honestly thought this was going to be just another stop before I went to Lazy Boy to buy what I wanted. I was very pleased with the on-floor inventory Hampton House had as well as the no pressure experience with Glen. A few days after ordering the Sectional, Glen called me to say that Flex-Steel had announced a 15% off sale and he was crediting our order! Seriously, who does that? How honest of him and the store. I recommend Hampton House and of course Glen the next time you are looking for quality furniture!!!

Thanks for your inquiry..... We require customers and employees to wear face coverings at all times. Hand sanitizers are placed throughout our store for all customers and employees, and encouraged to be used as needed. All employees are temperature checked and health screened daily. We make every effort to maintain social distance with everyone in our store. All regularly touched surfaces are disinfected periodically during the day and extra measures are taken to keep them that way. Is there a delivery charge when buying furniture?

Thanks for asking George. In home delivery and set-up within 25 miles of our store is just $45. There is a surcharge beyond 25 miles and within our state of Michigan that we can quote you by calling our store and giving us your zip code.

Can I match Captain Chairs to my kitchen set which was purchased about 8 to 10 years ago?
