Wow! There are some really bad reviews about People's, as for myself I find these reviews to be very informative. I must say my experience with People's has been very favorable. People should do lot of research before putting a loved one into any type of care facility. The building is old yes, but it's keep clean. The staff is very friendly and professional, I personally think that People's is a great place to live. I have lived in 2 other care facilities that weren't anything nearly as clean or where the residents were the treated with respect and dignity by the staff. Keep in mind that being a caregiver is a very stressful and demanding job. Show them some respect!!

My mother lived at People's for approximately a year and a half. She hated it the entire time. During covid we could not see her. When I arrived to take her to urgent care after a social worker called me about her condition, she was covered in fecal matter as was her clothing, couch, recliner and the carpet. She was severely dehydrated and had lost weight. She had to be admitted to a hospital. We had no way of knowing her condition as we could not visit her. The head nurse informed me there was nothing wrong with her or they would have called us. The doctor told me she had 3 days to live. She was also in afib because they did not ensure she was getting her medicine and did not call us about it. She died a few weeks later. Trust me, don't trust People's.

Horrible! Run for the hills. This place is a joke, especially management! I feel so bad for the residents. They deserve better. If you plan on applying here for caregiving, don't do it. Management will use and abuse you. They never keep their word on giving raises to those who actually work their asses off instead of kissing ass like most of the morning caregivers & med techs. Beware who you speak too as well.

PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE! Employees are sleeping with each other & stealing residents money & if you try to tell you will instantly be fired. Very over priced with disrespectful employees please save your loved one by going somewhere else!!!
