Good place to stop by for a bite. Friendly staff and quick service. The complementary tea was a nice touch. We had the chow mein and Tai Tung Chop Suey. They were good but had very similar flavor profiles; thats on us though. The pot stickers were AMAZING though! Would love to try other things if the chance presents itself.

The food, the staff and the atmosphere were all synchronized into the perfect day experience for asian cuisine. Sweet and sour chicken, oyster beef, fried rice, garlic bok choy and even the tea were spectacular. I have been coming back here for 35 years. Whenever friends are in town to visit or we are celebrating a special occasion or just have a craving for some good Asian food, Thai Tung is the answer.

This is one of my FAVORITE restaurants. I grew up eating here and it's always been good. You do have to show proof of covid vaccine. They used to validate parking but no longer do. There's several parking lots you can pay to park. Tai Tung has the best fried chicken in Washington in my opinion. We had fried chicken, special fried rice and chow mein.

Bruce Lee’s favorite restaurant… enough said! This is my favorite restaurant in ID/Chinatown. The food is amazing and the service is terrific. They do family style dishes and recommend getting an appetizer, soup, and entree. We opted to get the potstickers, hot pepper chicken, sweet and sour pork, and the chef special fried rice. Everything tasted amazing and between two of us we had plenty of food and a little leftover. The decor inside is amazing with all the photographs of how things have changed and the family that owns the restaurant. Must visit if in the area.

I have frequented this restaurant for nearly 50 years and my wife and I still enjoy the Chinese 'Cantonese ' style cuisine here.
All Chinese restaurants are open on Christmas.
A country in eastern Taiwan.
Cheap enough not to worry about the price and tasty enough to do it again
It is about a 5 minute walk
Yes but call early as some nights can be surprisingly full.
They validate parking. There is parking behing the restaurant and you write down your parking space number once you are in the restaurant. Parking is free for customers.
All kinds 🐅
it is an older reataurant and a little close quarters, but that said, the staff are friendly and helpful and seem like they would accomodate needs of their customers. maybe give them a call to check?
Take out only. Staff is masked up
You might call and ask first (maybe speak to Harry, the owner), but I would be concerned about cross contamination. Quite a few dishes contain cornstarch and soy sauce is pretty much a staple in Chinese restaurants. Good luck!
Probably. They were open on Thanksgiving
