My mother has behaviors due to her schizophrenia. She has been in the facility, since before visitors were allowed in. She is always clean, and showered. The staff are very good at what they do. Coming from a nurse, who knows her way around facilities., The staff are wonderful, and seem to be proud of their work. I appreciate them for taking good care of my mom.

When my 90 year old mother was released from the hospital following a fall, we knew she would need some rehab before returning to the home she shares with our dad. What we discovered was that the fanciest places are not necessarily the best for helping mom to become independent enough to return home. She needed to feel that the staff really cared, not just for her safety, but for her emotional, spiritual, and physical needs. The care she received at Wright was just excellent. She loved every single staff person, including housekeeping, dietary ( she looked forward to meals, especially lunch), OT, PT, nursing, and the physician (Dr Venkatesh). Even the receptionist (Kat) and Lori in marketing were just wonderful and made mom feel very special. As a daily visitor I can attest to the fact that I never, not once, entered the facility with dread. It is meticulously clean and odor- free. Often, mom would be in the therapy room or walking down the hall with a therapist, all of whom she loved. She had so many favorites from various disciplines and couldn’t remember all their names but she especially liked Jennifer, Brianna, (both of them), Nate, Rita, Lisa, Monica and so many more. The social worker was great and followed up with aftercare (home care) which mom is now receiving. During her 3 week stay, the facility hosted several special activities including a carnival, complete with clowns, games, horse drawn carriage rides, popcorn, etc. families were invited and encouraged to attend and we all had so much fun ( great activities director:). We hope mom is able to remain in her home but if the need arises for her to need another rehab stint, Wright will be our first choice!

My mom did not has not had the best experience there. Sometimes an aide lets her sit in her feces for a few hours. Unfortunately there are a few bad apples in the bunch. So be careful
