Came in today to register as a new donor and give my first round of plasma. Waited ten minutes for someone to even acknowledge me, and then when an employee did come over to help, another employee came up to her and reprimanded her for helping me right in front of me, very loudly. Said something about it "not being her job" and to "get somebody else next time." I then sat through the orientation video only to be told afterwards that they couldn't accept new donors due to their systems being down. I will not be coming back.

June 19, 2022 Zero stars isn't an option. Supposed to open at 8am, the couldn't open because an emplyee was late, so about 20 people stood outside in line waiting. Finally at 8:40 we get in, go through check in and now we are told we have to wait while the calibrate machines and stock supplies. Management needs to fix this...or corporate needs to figure out why people can't get to work on time and why in the 45 minutes of "waiting" .. calibration and stocking and set up didn't happen.

So apparently they can make up their own hours whenever they want, close early, open late. Came here today and doors were locked, no sign and they don't answer the phone. Not the first time this has happened.

Wow the location was very clean and tidy. The bathrooms were clean I like the driers. The security was very friendly and informative. And they were quick to help me. I also like the vending options. 5 stars easy.

It depends if they have any promotions going on but I believe anywhere from $40 to $70?
Yes right after your donation it’s put in a debit card they give you .
Yes... you can donate at kent location
No. They only take your plasma. Type is irrelevant. If you wanna know your type, either donate whole blood and they will type you, or, you can always have a baby. Then, you will definitely be typed.
The head nurse
That is not true. They have a new system in place now.you make an addition 5$ every donation
I donated today and wife couldnt, they told her come back tomorrow
1st time: $60 2nd time: $60 3rd: $40 4th: $40 5th: $70
First timers get a hundo a couple of times off the bat more if you recommend it to others which you should mention me after that it gets incrementally lower 50 the next few visits then 35 I believe for every regular visit
If you can the best time to go is anytime before 11am
They only have closed on 2 snow days, Saturday & Sunday 2 weeks ago, typical wait times for phone to pick up can be lengthy, be patient the staff has many duties with screenings, the nurses are busy with New Donors. Drink plenty of water, no caffeine, eat a good protein meal before. Have current ID, Mail showing current address and Social Security number
All new donors regardless of weight receive $75 first donation, $50 second/third/forth donation and $75 on fifth donation. After fifth donation it goes by weight.
No that’s against there’s rules
So I should give them my o Parents address cuz that's where I was staying
Yup 3 hours sounds about right. That's how long it took me
Something like 50, 50, 40, 50, 70 for your first 5 donations. Then 25, 45 every week
Payment DOES RESET after 6 or more months of not donating. You will have to do another exam and it will take just about as much time as the first time you donated. It reset to 1st time $60 2nd time $60 3rs time $40 4th time $40 5th time $40 & 6th time $70. I only donate every 6 months or more to not only get the pay outs but more importantly to give my vienes a rest.
First time is 70 then 50 for the 2nd and 3rd and 60 for the 4th and 5th. After that it depends on your weight.
About 2.5 -3 hours max
First time donations take about 2.5-3 hours due to the exam. Marti is right, you should eat and drink lots of water before the donation. To speed up the actual donating, just repeatedly squeeze your hand to keep the blood flow consistent. I do that when I donate and once they've got the needle in me it only takes about 45 minutes. If you don't squeeze your hand, it will take at least twice as long.
Proof of adress. I would call and confirm with what you have counts though.
Monday-Friday they are open 8:00AM-7:00PM. Saturday they are open 8:00AM-4:00PM. Sunday they are open 8:00AM-5:00PM.
