The rooftop bar is very interesting. The attention of the receptionists is terrible with foreigners. Without that problem everything would have been OK.

The Liberty suite.. rockstar room at a rockstar hotel. Only place to stay when we are in NYC. All the convenience of location, but none of the noise compared to staying near Time Square. Also, the standard is right by High Line so to walk to Hudson Yard for shopping is a beautiful walk. And so many great restaurants within walking or a fast Uber.. Catch NYC, Vestry NYC, TAO.. The standard is the place. Thx for treating us so good every time we are here. Mike from Canada.

We do not have a parking garage on the property; however, we partner with an Icon parking garage that offers a special daily rate of $50 per 24 hour stay for our hotel guests. It is located at 385 West 15th St. and 386 West 16th St. (between 8th and 9th Aves). Please be sure to tell the parking attendant that you are a guest of the hotel so that they may provide you with a ticket number for validation. The number can be validated at the front desk. Roof top bar operate separately from the hotel. As a hotel guest it is not for shore that they will let you in after 9 PM. Most probbably you will not be able to enter on Friday and Saturday night. That happened to me.

The Top of The Standard is worth it for the views alone. The drinks are somewhat unique, the prices are average for NYC, and at times getting in is a pain, but it was all worth it for that sunset.
