I booked my stay with at least six months before the trip (October/22), my fare permitted the whole cancelation one day before the stay, and on the description of the rooms said that they had kitchen appliances on rooms like microwave, pots, pans... On the check in the receptionist inform us that the Nyma Hotel is closed, and no worries your reservation was transferred to the hotel in front (hotel at 5th avenue). They offered to bring someone to take us there, but we crossed the street, and went to the reception on the "sister" hotel. At the time I decided to see what they had to offer, so the new receptionist treated us like she was making this huge favor, than I ask for the kitchen appliances since we are in a new hotel and she says "there is no kitchen appliances here or on the nyma hotel", when was time to pay I ask to pay 70% on debit, and 30% on cash, since there is a limit to debit cards, and guess what? "we don't accept cash" (huh? I mean sometimes they don't accept a specific card but cash? And again with the rudeness, hello? I'm a costumer who booked a service with one establishment and is pushed to another which is gaining my business, which I am paying up front and they given me zero apologies, zero excuses, lots of trouble and rudeness. The two only good things that I can say about the hotel is that it's a great location, close to the train station, metro, empire state building, macy's and on a street full of restaurants, the other is that all the staff excluding the rude receptionist were extremely friendly.

I have a reservation for next year that I make and pay for a few months ago. When checking the status of my reservation, they confirm that the hotel will be closed at that time. I send mail, I call, I call through booking and I don't get an answer. I want to know which hotel I am going to be referred to, I would like to know the location of the hotel that they are going to send me since I chose this one because of the location. For convenience I recommend a taxi, the price is about 60 $ then add the tips a total of 67-70 $. You can also pay by debit or credit card. Its no where close to green acres. This hotel is in Manhattan on 32nd Street. Between 5th Ave and Broadway. Better known as little Korea. Great place.
The parking lot that is nearby does not belong to the hotel, I paid 27 dollars for 3 hours the only time I used it.
