Update: I finally got my glasses corrected. Not without a fight. They invited a different optometrist, a lovely lady, who did all tests and corrected all mistakes made by previous staff. I still keep my negative opinion about this place. Avoid going there!! Staff if rude and not professional. Absolutely horrible experience. It looks like they just squeeze money from people without providing services. I got a Groupon for eye exam to get glasses, both reading and for driving. I have very small prescription: +1.25 for both for reading, and -1.50 one eye for driving, the other eye is fine. I paid around $500 for progressive glasses. For the first time, they gave me glasses that made me dizzy, and I cannot see or read anything. When I tried to make a step I felt the entire room moved upside down. It was scary. They rechecked the prescription and find out it was wrong. Then they redid the glasses, and they still did not work at all. It was really dangerous even just walk wearing them as everything was blurry and surrounding were moving along with me. I brought my own frame so they can make regular reading glasses, and regular glasses for driving, which are both still cheaper than progressive. The technician told me that I would not see well in new glasses, but I found my daughter old glasses at home that make me see far perfectly well. The reading glasses they gave me (+3 prescripthion)are absolutely impossible to wear as they are very thick and I cannot see anything thru them at all; however, I can perfectly see and read with regular walgreens reading +1.25 glasses. They made me drive back and force ( I live an hour away) just to tell me that their doctor looked at my file and refused to see me for recheck; so they would refer me to optimologist, who I have to pay from my pocket, and they cannot do anything with those glasses. As a result, I'm left with glasses I cannot use, minus $500 from my pocket and possible another several hundreds for the opimologist, because I do not have insurance for vision. They also refused to give me my prescription so I would know what exactly is going on. I'm sure I'm entitle to it as I paid for it. Total violation of my rights as a consumer. Update: I got the record of only my last eye test, and it was surprisingly incorrect. Update: the manager called me and set up a new recheck appointment for August 8. Let's see if they are going to resolve the issues or try to get rid of me again. I just wonder how in his sober mind a "professional' can prescribe +3 reading glasses (intended to somebody you cannot read anything without glasses) for a person who can easily read fine print. Strange things are happening there.

I just came from the store, extremely calm and sweet place! The employees are extremely fashionable and sweet! And the optometrist is extremely well informed and very kind!

Horrible. 5 appointments later. Wrong prescription, wrong contact lenses, they are the absolute worst. Spent nearly 500- for nothing. Basically had to donate glasses and get a whole new prescription and doctor. Good riddance. Live and learn.

No you have to make an appointment. It's only walk-in to fix your glasses if you have a warentee
Loop bus
Give them a call.
Did anyone go in with a Groupon and find it was more limiting than expected? Or there were more unforseen costs? Like it doesn't include progressive lenses, etc.?
