We visited on a Sunday around 1:30 pm after the lunch rush. I feel they must have been short staffed because for the area we were in, there was only one guy with appx. 8 tables. He seemed frazzled. Very, very nice but frazzled to where he would forget items we asked for like vinegar, extra BBQ sauce, salad dressing... Also, they were out of butter for the hush puppies. In a small town like that, I feel someone should have run up to the store and bought some.... You can't really enjoy the puppies without butter. All Southerners know that. Anyway, the food was pretty good. I had a salad, BBQ chicken w/creamed potatoes, and yams. My husband had a salad, hamburger steak w/ creamed potatoes and cabbage. The flavor was good and not overcooked. We will return on our next outing that way.

Great southern food. The service was fantastic and friendly. The yams are a must. Save room for desert. Well worth going the little distance.

I was passing through and decided to look up a breakfast place in Google maps and they steered me right. I had the house special - biscuits with gravy (melted cheese, tomatoes and peppers with eggs with biscuits and a side of bacon). The service was very sincere and efficient. stop by and check this place out - loved the interior - lots of autographed guitars to check out. I must point out I tried to not take pictures of people there. But is was busy and then it got serious in there when church let out.

The service was fast and friendly. The food was decent. Very quaint Hometown restaurant in a small community. Everybody knew each other that walked in the door which was awesome. I would suggest trying the pancakes or the sweet potato pancakes.
