good sandwich . good price . had the rueben bc that was the sandwich of the day. bartender made me feel like i was a big to be squished which is a good thing. i have respect for him. i havent been anywhere else to eat in the city but i would come back. wish there was pinball

i have been to The Earl 4 times before i decided to show up again. the first 3 times were amazing, i don't know who was in the kitchen cooking but i had the earl shrimp tacos and i ordered the same thing every time i went back. The tacos were so amazing, the food was cooked to perfection and i can tell it was served fresh off the grill. This time i ordered the steak tacos and i'm not sure if thats how the steak is served or if it was already made and reheated but, when i got my food the server ( short caucasian lady with glasses and wild curly hair) seemed like she had an attitude but maybe thats her personality. After getting my order it wasn't satisfying as i said stated earlier and so i asked if they could reheat it and they did but afterwards the food just wasn't the same and not to mention my friend found a piece of hair in his food and i asked if we could just order food to go instead of paying for what we ordered to sit down and eat and the waiter asked the manager and i was told that they'd rather not have us get the same order to go if it wasn't made right the first time and they comped everything and we just left. I like the earl and i have nothing bad to say this was just my experience going there this time. I still do recommend the earl because they have great food and the drinks are awesome.
