Culvers has become my go to restaurant for many a lunch in the last year. They got rid of the added pickle on the bun nobody asked for. They have a wide menu variety and an atmosphere that delivers both a bit of privacy as well as ease of conversation. They deliver to table and don't nag for a tip. This is the place you want to go if you are dating on a budget. After dining at one knockoff establishment recently, the experience left me concretely (pun intended) a regular at Culvers.

First time being at this one but had a bad experience. Took wife an kid there to grab a quick ice cream but instead we waited 20 minutes for 2 ice creams. I got tired of waiting for 2 ice creams so I said something. When we finally got our order it looked as if it was left sitting there. I mean 20 minutes for 2 ice cream come on. While every car that made orders after us were whole meals. Some were multiple bags for a single car. We probably would have never got our order if I didn't say anything. I don't know if it was because the color of our skin but it sure felt like it.

The food is consistently good. For some reason, it is quite often a challenge to find a clean table. They really need to focus on the cleanliness of the dining room.

Typically I like this place. This trip was horrible. My "burger" consisted of some crispy stuff, but no burger. I brought it up to the staff and they said... oh that's how it's supposed to be... hum? Never has been before. I can't see laying down $40 for 5 people to eat a crunchy something sandwich.
