Had a great time renting 2 cottages here for a family reunion. Management style was very hands off (a comment rather than a criticism) house was well appointed, kudos on having sharp knives (that never happens). Great view of lake Erie from the house. If you're looking for hot tubs and pool tables this might not be for you, but no complaints at all from us, we just wanted to visit family and be together and have a bed at the end of the day. Close to amenities and parks and a really good value.

Very disappointed !!! I have stayed many places in many states as I travel for work, the gypsy cottage I rented from Swanson cottage rentals was DISGUSTINGLY GORGEOUS!!!! There was used tissues beside the beds in two of the rooms, dirt along the baseboards on the carpet, cobwebs everywhere that could of been easily cleaned as well as everything else. The furniture outdated from the 70’s. I payed $500 for two nights very overpriced. I don’t recommend this place even if you are a bunch of teenagers wanting to party.

But it has private lakefront access so I drive away about 10 blocks
I recently stayed in Seldom Seen which had 3 bedrooms/6 people. They only rent cottages for one week and we paid 1,075 plus tax plus you have to put down a $200 deposit. If you look on their website they will show what cottages they have and how many bedrooms/people plus the price. And you will have access to a private beach which is a 5 minute drive from the cottages and the parking down there is horrible. You share the private beach with other people renting cottages plus people who own beach front houses.
So only the last week you are open? We were interested in a July weekend only not an entire week
