This has been one of the best facilities I have ever been to. Every time I go I am happy when I leave. The parking lot situation is absolutely atrocious but the facility itself, the technology, the doctors nursing and reception staff have been top notch for me!!!! ***Please put two attendants on the lot for getting people in and out- or- install a ticket machine…..Lets be honest this hospital can surely afford it. You get backed up in the street because we have to wait to get a ticket to just get in. (Only one guy is there to do in and out all at once). Also Pittsburgh Magees doesn’t charge for the first 2 hours…why does Erie Magees? Would love to give 5 stars but the parking lot ticket situation is just so bad.

Back when I had my daughter in 2015. After the birth that was fine but the hospital staff was awful, rude and disrespectful .. never going back. . Get your priority straight. Treat your patients with respect I was experiencing with postpartum preeclampsia had very high blood pressure and not nurse or doctor give me any medicine for it and sent me home with my blood pressure being extremely high.. not safe hospital

3 tries over 2 weeks to make an appointment. No one seems to have a good phone number. Online the number is the main hospital but then you are transfered around and around after explaining what you need to an ENDLESS parade of people who seem to have no idea what's going on. It should not be this hard to made a friggin' appointment. So I gave up and actually went down to the Magee Women Hospital and went in in-person to make the appointment. The next day they called me to say they had made a mistake and had to cancel that appointment and that I should call in again and reschedule. No thank you.

I'm not 100% certain, but I believe the woman's hospital opened before the summer in 2011
You can speak with the cobblestone inn on the bayfront or the b and b Victorian house on peach and ask about offers and family rates as they may be less expensive alternatives to the Sheraton or marriot. Additionally you can reach out as a rewards member to the Marriott or Sheraton and ask about deals. All the options named are close to the hospital in Erie
Right in front of the Magee Women's entrance or you can park in the ramp for Hamot and walk.
