Rented a house from them. No A/C. Not a problem provided my own. Had a furnace which didn’t work. Never wanted to come out to fix it. This ice storm I paid some one to pick up branches and clean up. I was never compensated. Then they said they mowed my yard. Twice. In the middle of winter. Lol I provided pictures because the dates were days a part from when they said they came out to mow and the tree clean up. Then I was asked to give a key to them then the next day I got their handy man on camera trashing my house and stealing my items. Very sketchy people.

I went and looked at this property on Thursday the 16th and I immediately went into your office and put in an application. She stated i was the first applicant for this home. she stated that it took about a day to process the application and that I would have an answer the next day. she had been communicating with me via text and text me on Friday morning about the AC and at that time I asked for the status on my application and she said she had been busy and that she would get back to me. I waited until about 4:30 that day and called again to check the status on my application and she stated that she was working on it but that the air conditioning unit had to be replaced at the house. I wasn't sure at the time what what that had to do with processing my application but she told me that it would be Saturday or Monday before I heard something. I patiently waited most of the day on Monday and around 1:30 p.m. I called to check on the status of my application because I had not gotten a phone call nor text from her. At this time I was told that she had found an eviction in my maiden name. I want to assure you that this is not at all possible for one I've never been evicted and I had impeccable rental history. And for two I've only used my maiden name for the last 2 years and I've been in the residence that I am still into this day for those two years. Before that I was married for 12 years and used last name that was different. So this is not at all possible. she then proceeded to tell me that she had attempted to call my phone several times and it had gone straight to voicemail. which again I believe is very inaccurate especially considering she had been texting me Thursday and Friday of last week and could have reached me via text. There was not a single voicemail left on my phone, nor the phone of my husband. I did reach out to my current landlord who confirmed that she had not called her to check my rental reference. I have lived at this address for 3 years with excellent rental history, this is the second time that I have rented from this landlord the first time that I rented from her I lived in this home for 4 years. I reached out to both my mother and my mother-in-law and they confirmed that she did not check my personal references. I reached out to my boss who then confirmed that she did not check my work reference. I have never once been evicted from a residence nor have I never once not received my security deposit back. So at this point I'm very upset. I met every qualification to qualify for this home as well as the fact that I was the first applicant. I do not know why I was passed over for this house but I'm very upset considering that my application was not even processed, I was lied to and I was the first applicant there's no reason that I should not be moving into this home. my husband and I together make almost seven times the amount of rent for this house. I am positive at this point that we were simply denied because my husband is black.

We've rented from here for 6 years. Couldn't be happier. We actually had a limb fall on our roof and the matter was handled asap and with professionals. Nice people!
