Yeah you have to have the receipt to exchange anything I know on things like washers and dryers anything electronic you can exchange it for something comparable if it doesn't work because we bought a washer and it will never stay balanced.

Call C.O.R.E furniture bank they will do a house visit to verify what you need and even deliver it to you. It sucks waiting but the end result is worth it. Also check the free section on Craigslist they give away furniture all the time
