Love the cops at the Tacoma Police Central Substation North. Their great hard working cops that keep the drama to themselves focusing specifically on the positive of the job. I love officer 2712 she is constantly on my mind !!

Place is closed, doors locked and no one answers the call box. number doesn’t work. Can’t file report online cause their form never works. Cars have been broken into four times in six months and stolen once. They do nothing

Officers that I've talked to and seen have been really helpful, but with that they've also failed me. Abusive ex that vandalized my vehicle by slashing my tires last Monday. I was granted a temporary restraining order on Monday as well. Last night I was contacted repeatedly by my ex. So I called the police department only to find out they haven't even served her the paperwork! Didn't sleep all night in fear I'd come down to my vehicle destroyed again. Until she's served she can't be held accountable is what I was told. 2 stars for the officers I've dealt with they were great. Would've been 5 stars but they've failed to deliver on the court ordered document costing me sleep and peace of mind. Will be calling as soon as they open to figure out why.

Failing the citizens of Tacoma. More and more crime and transient activity everyday downtown yet they do nothing. Coworker was shot while in the car and they never even responded or called back.

They can only do so much. The politicians have taken away most everything they can do. They care more about what people think. Our officers have their hands tied. It's not our officers. It's what they can and can not do. And the fact that we are down so many officers now. We need to get a strong leadership in place and let the police do their jobs.

GOOD LUCK! I can't even get an officer to show up and take a report on an accident/HIT & RUN & I've been sitting in the sun with my elderly mother for almost 2hours and STILL NO SHOW!!! Accident was basically me rear-ending & me calling police! I HAVE TO GET MOM HOME NOW TO TAKE HER MEDS! Hopefully an officer calls me back to take my statement by phone! a SUV & HE RAN! I followed the vehicle and my car stalled 2X! I Watched him do an illegal U turn then passes me going opposite Dorsett & flipped me off

You still need to have your drivers license. Its the main reason why you would get a ticket for driving without a license and why some cops go as far as impounding your car.

No. For that you need to go to south sound records which is on tacoma Avenue across from the courthouse
You have to go in person to LESA Records and request it. Your insurance company, however, can easily obtain the copy themselves and then you won't have to pay for it.
Contact South Sound 911. They handle records for Tacoma police. But you'll need the police incident ID number too.
