Can’t say enough good things about this place and staff. The park is quaint, quiet, and extremely well kept. Bath houses were clean! Woke up on the day we were suppose to check out to a dead RV battery. DJ (maintenance at the park) immediately came to our rescue and jumped it off. Mrs Beth and DJ were so helpful during our stay and were even willing to help us in another desperate battery situation after we had checked out of the park. Just good hearted people. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend them!

We've been all over the country and just loves these little campgrounds. Owners are so welcoming and accepted our fur family with open arms we travel with a dog and 2 goats. Reasonably priced and can't find a better spot for the local attractions. I'd stay here again if we ever come back this way. I'd rather give them my money than any chain campground.

The campground consists of gravel pads (many pull through spots) with grassy areas. There isn't a large amount of space between sites, however the place is quiet and peaceful, even when full on the weekends. Our site (18) was lovely with a small bridge that leads to the picnic table and fire ring. We would definitely request Site 17 or 18 the next time we stay. Some sites are water electric only while most have full hookups. The park is well laid out and easy to navigate even with a big rig. The campground is just a few minutes off I-65 (take exit 53 for the easiest access). Only 15 minutes to the main Visitor Center at Mammoth Cave, this is a perfect jumping off point for many area attractions such as Dinosaur World. Cellular service was fine with Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. No booster needed. The uploads were a little slow, however we had no trouble streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc. The owners of the campground are so friendly! They go above and beyond for their guests. We were confronted by another camper during our stay and the owners promptly resolved the matter and checked back in with us later to fill us in on the issue. The owners clearly take pride in their campground and it shows! This is an excellent place to come for a relaxing vacation. There are no full time residents and it is not a rowdy, party campground. There is a catch and release pond stocked with fish. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Mammoth Cave.

Owners are super friendly and nice! Great campground! Clean and well maintained. We had our first visit this week. We stopped over night on our way to Florida. We are planning a two day stay on the way home so we can do a little site seeing since the caverns are so close.

Yes. We just ask that they stay on a leash and that you clean up after them.
The daily price depends on what spot you want. A 50 amp full hookup is $46 per night. A 30 amp full hookup is $42 per night. A spot with just water and electricity is $38 per night. All prices are for up to 3 adults on a site. In past, ems has taken between 10 and 15 minutes to get here. Thank you for asking about us!
Skipper, We do have three long term spots, but they are filled right now. I don't know about the CDL job situation. I am sorry we can't help more than that at this time.
Check in is 1PM, however, if the spot is empty we don't care if you come in early.
We purchased the campground from Oscar and Geneva Sullivan in January of 2007. Oscar was half of the duo known as Lonzo and Oscar. They did a lot of songs in the 40's and 50's. The song they were perhaps best known for was "I'm my own Grandpa". Hope this helps.
