Dr. Doneskey helped me with my clenching of my teeth. This is money well spent. The staff are great to work with and Jeff’s total professional manner is beyond compare. Brian

Last year, I struggled with TMJ issues for the first time and it was by far one of the most painful experiences I’ve ever gone through. One side of my jaw had locked, I could not eat solid foods or anything enjoyable for weeks. My mouth was basically closed shut and even brushing my teeth was super painful. I’m a teeth grinder at night and have clenched my jaw for as a long as I can remember but my mouth guard at the time felt like it was making my TMJ issues worse. Long story short, I found and met Dr. Doneskey and his practice who is an incredibly kind and knowledgeable person. He was gentle and caring and went above and beyond for treating my TMJ. I received a specialized mouth guard made out of this very comfortable material. He customized it every follow up appointment to ensure that the correct teeth were hitting the guard in all the right places. I saw results such as no pain only a couple months after receiving treatment which was amazing. It’s been about a year since I made the decision to receive specialized treatment and I’m completely pain free now! Everyone’s TMJ story is different but for me, I can open my mouth as wide as I did before (which I wasn’t expecting) and no longer have any clicking noises or pain when eating or doing normal activities. The entire team there (front staff and support staff) is very friendly and hospitable and I look forward to going there every time! Definitely worth it.

Just to start, Doctor Donesky and his office staff are unbelievably kind and genuine people, which is fantastic in and of itself. But the treatment I received for my TMJ lock was awesome, and within 2 months of my first visit, I had the ability to do everything that I could not do without difficulty before, such as brushing my teeth, eating food, and yawning. I started with a 20mm opening, and at this point right now, I am at 47mm. Still continuing my treatment plan, but I believe it is safe to say that a positive review is in order, and that I have received more than satisfactory care.

I initially presented with left jaw pain and had limited mobility to open my mouth. It was very uncomfortable to yawn and chew with my left side. I went to the Sleep Apnea and Facial Pain Center to seek further management of these symptoms. I was given medication first to treat my symptoms and almost instantly my discomfort disappeared. I was then switched to a mouth guard that was customized to my jaw. I don't need to take medication anymore and just wear this piece at night. It has been great to help prevent me from grinding my teeth at night and I no longer have this pain. I would recommend this clinic. Dr. Doneskey is great with patients and his staff is attentive as well.

If you don't seek treatment for TMD, you may experience joint damage and inflammation, wearing down on your teeth, ear ringing, and hearing damage or even loss.
Yes, sleep apnea can lead to mental health issues, heart disease, diabetes, and more.
Snoring is typically the result of excess tissue in and around your throat, which compresses your airway. When air tries to pass through a constricted airway, it can cause you to loudly snore while sleeping.
Unfortunately, sleep apnea will not disappear if you choose to ignore it. It s a serious sleep disorder that can lead to further, possibly detrimental health consequences if neglected.
Many of our patients in Bellevue and surrounding areas find relief using our FDA-cleared, state-of-the-art oral sleep device. The SilentPartner™ Treatment works by gently shifting your jaw forward to keep the airway open while you sleep.
Loud snoring is a common symptom of sleep apnea, but not everyone who snores suffers from the sleep disorder. Snoring can occur for a number of reasons, such as age, medication, alcohol consumption, or sleep position. It’s best to schedule a consultation with Dr. Doneskey so he can assess your symptoms and determine with you, if a sleep study is necessary.
We recommend seeking professional treatment when frequent pain and stiffness associated with TMJ begins to affect your everyday life. Dr. Doneskey has more than 30 years of experience in effectively treating patients with TMJ related problems, including even the most complicated disorders.
