Very uneven footing and a bit of a trek to the first fall. Absolutely NO way of getting through if you have mobility issues unfortunately. Road to get to the trail head was fairly difficult if you don't know how to drive on a dirt road with many potholes. Probably too difficult for most children

The Trail is beautiful and so is the scenery along the trail however be very very careful. The 3 mile pothole road to get there makes it so you are removed and if you have T-mobile there's absolutely no reception. When we got back from our hike our car was broken into and backpacks were stolen . They smashed my tailgate window and my passenger drivers side window. Being that far out with no reception is dangerous especially that not many people go on the trail. Whoever did this knew exactly what they were doing and smashed the windows in a way so that the alarm doesn't go off and had the tools to do it because there was no damage on the body of the car and from our conversation with the police office , this happens at that trail a lot .

We loved this hike, very easy until about 3/4 of the way to the first falls, after that it gets pretty dicey. A little tough for kids around 8 and under. Steep drop offs. The road honestly sucks, but on the bright side that keeps the traffic down. Once the rainy season really kicks in, this will be a nightmare to hike, very slick rocks and washed out trails.

Oh this was nice! Not to far down the path was boulder falls, but if you keep going you run into another one and it is definitely worth the walk but if you walk further there is another about 1 me between 2nd one and 3rd. This is one amazing fall! Kid doable

About 2.5 - 3 miles round trip to the waterfall, closer to 8 miles round trip to the river where the campsites are.
No.
No pass needed. Go to wta.org to find all information about the Washington Trails you need
You park at the trail jaed and the service raod is full of potholes but when i was up there is did it in aprius and i saw nothing but other sedans there and like one outback. You can do it but take it slow and be aware of the rough patches. Avoid it after a big rain.
