If you cannot do big hills than this is a perfect ride. There are a lot of trees, a well-paved path and it was a pleasure to ride here. It's good for fast bikers, walkers, recumbent bikes. At the beginning, there are a couple porta potties. I guess there have been bear spotted. I carry my bear mace. Plenty of parking, it's wide enough for 3 and there are long slopes

I just stopped to check out this old barn that was built over 100yrs ago. It's got a lot of history and still standing. The last picture I don't know if it will work but you can try searching and it comes up with a bunch of historical sites all Snohomish and island county

Scenic and peaceful trail! It was a nice change from Sammamish trail which gets congested in some areas. On this trail, it was just on our bikes and nature. Throughout the ride, we heard birds' chirping! We saw a small garden snake, many slugs, lots of bunnies, and birds! At one point, we even saw a big dog, we thought it was a bear! 😓 Soon, we figured it was a dog, sharing the trail with us! Phew! Its practically a flat trail, and since it was covered with trees most part, had little wind resistance! Overall, a great trail to explore.

A nice, scenic area, right off highway 9. Grassy areas, paved trail, trees, and of course the barn. The trail is pretty flat, handicap accessible. There was an area where I saw an unpaved trail with a sign that said "uneven ground" which is not wheelchair friendly. Other than that trail, the main trail is wheelchair, bike, and dog friendly. There are Porta Potties here, one is a handicap bathroom. The barn has old historical photos and informative signs posted on it, but you cannot venture inside.
