Amazing selection! All kinds of lizards, snakes, birds, rodents, frogs, bunnies, fish, etc! And everything you need to get started or for everyday care of your pets! Love going here, whether to pick up necessities or just to look at what's in the store that week!

stopped by here while on vacation, and glad I did! the staff, but specifically the employee with the red and blue dyed hair was so sweet and helped me out with the questions i had!! willl definitely come back here when given the opportunity
However - if they are too young to home yet - you *can* put one on layaway to hold it for you.
I love that you can get the birds very young at Pet Paradise - it means that the bird is more apt to imprint on you, and you can start training early. I stead of trying to teach an adult bird that may have had very little human interaction.
What is wrong with this store? Why can't I just shop? Owner/Corp. Crazy? If people can just walk in, why can't I see products/animals on line? I should not be forced to use facebook. to use

1)It's the only "exotic" pet store that is reasonably available.
2)Why can't you shop? Every time I go in I'm usually able to find what I'm looking for.
3)I've no idea about the owner/ Corporation.
3)I don't know that they have an online presence. I do know that they have a wide range of reptiles, avians, fish & crustaceans.....fresh and saltwater, and any number of supplies.
4)I don't use Facebook and no one can force me to.
So what is your real question?.....or is it that you'd prefer to rant with no other aim than to......make noise?
It does depend on what type you are asking about we sell land tortoises and some aquatic turtles. It also depends on the type of year. Please call the shop and speak with out reptiel staff.
Go on their FB Page and either message them or post your question on their page. They have the main page and secondary page called birds of pet paradise.
Will Pet Paradise accept a donated turtle that we can no longer care for?
Mary Anne Flanagan | Nov 7, 2018
Lisa Curran | Nov 7, 2018
Yes I believe so, they've taken surrendered snakes - so I would assume that they would take in a turtle
I would call in advance, as they may want it done on a specific day(s)
[i.e. for example: when their reptile specialist is working]
they range depending on breed and age. Babies are typically around 59.99 feel free to our message our small animal face book page for current availability and pricing
Hello we buy our bunnys from local breeders. If you are looking to sell some please feel free to give us a call and speak with amber our erin. They are our small animal managers.

For parrots, make sure you have a good sized cage, toys, food and water dishes. All can be found at pet paradise, along with a cute feathered family member. Ask the staff for more information
Are you interested in a male Kakariki who is about 8? He’s beautiful, but needs work in his manners!! Please let me know either way! I’m new on this so not sure how to do this!
Hi,guys, how can I get the prize on the bird's without going to the store
John Carter | Nov 6, 2020

family takes flight with Adventures | Nov 6, 2020
Clara Camp | Nov 6, 2020
I don't know what you are talking about, I'm not racist! I have a cockatiel that I wanted to go get some things for her, and needed some information I haven't been that store in years .
They deginitely have them, but they will not sell them to you during Easter. The cashier told me people tend to buy them for Easter and then they don't want them afterwards. So, my guess is not until after that.
I'm not sure if they are always available in store, but the people who work reptile should be able to get you good information and/or help you order one.
You're always better off trusting Google reviews for locally owned shops in this area. This area hasn't exactly gotten on board with the age of technology so you're going to have to take what you can get and in my opinion Google is good enough for reviews.
There is no age limit, but i believe that when you are in store you need to be 14 or older to pick up a hamster without parental guidance. Buying should not have an age limit though.
Usually, all depends what they have in stock. Go check it out, definitely worth the trip. I'm sure they can get you one if you go up there, all the staff is laid back and friendly.
You can also talk to them on Facebook. They are very informative to anyone who has any questions. We talked to them on messenger on Facebook at night so they are responsive as well.
We do sell some varieties of iguanas but we do not carry the common greens as they get far too large for the average person to care for properly. We do carry a wide variety of other types of smaller lizards that make excellent pets.
Do you sell Armadillo girdled lizard and or the products need to house and care for them?
Jake Cohen | Nov 7, 2019
Lisa Wood | Nov 7, 2019
Definitely the best for all of your housing needs for the lizard and they have a lot of pets to be but I don't know all of them. I'm trying to learn what I can. I'm just a pet owner as well
Usually less than 50 dollars. Keep in mind these birds are hand fed and handled daily. They also teach them to "step up" so these birds are already friendly. Definitely worth the money
We do have some pet rats right now but I’m not sure the age. You could call and speak to our small animal department or reach out to my small animal manager on the face book page here is the link

Do you have rays and if so, what size tank do they need
kiwi 25 | Nov 7, 2018
Lisa Rodriguez | Nov 7, 2018
Yes. 90 to 200 gallons minimum depending on max size. More tall than wide because they like to swim to the surface and float back down. It's not just the size of the tank but you also need sand. They love to bury themselves in sand. It gets expensive but it's worth it wit the correct care. And look into sand care because air can get trapped and and mix with the ammonia in the sand and can make them very very sick when they pop. Invest in a home chemical test if you don't have one. Do a lot of research on ray care before making a decision. This is not a beginner fish.
Do you have any painted turtles in store? And if so how much?
Jay Edwards | Nov 7, 2018
Peter Lee | Nov 7, 2018
You should probably call them with your phone.
Do you take Guinea pigs
genelle morrison | Nov 7, 2018
Kris Harbeson | Nov 7, 2018
I don't I don't work there the best I can tell you is go on Craigslist
we sell hamsters. Price varies depending on breed and age. Please feel free to call us or contact us on face book on our small animal page for current availability and pricing.
They will usually recommend introduction of a second bird shall be done while they're still young or babies and gradually. I have 2 friendly cockatiels from there and i got my second about 3 months after my first and i kept them in separate cages and observed how they treated each other from across the room, then with cages close together, then out of cage. My gradual move took 3 months and they are cage buddies, no fighting. This will always depend on your bird, and the chance of success is higher if your existing cockatiel is young.
Need a 55 gal tank for an oscar..or bigger..any suggestions? Open to any reasonable solution..just moving and he needs to have a bigger tank..thank you

I don't remember seeing a lot of fish stuff there for sure. There is a really nice place that specializes in fish call legendary Aquatics in greenbriar I highly recommend. Decent prices and good knowledge of fish and fish accessories.
