Mom’s Alzheimer’s had advanced and we knew it was time to place her in a memory care community. We had owned a senior home care company so we were familiar with Alzheimer’s, its progression and life in assisted living communities but it’s still a difficult process when it’s your loved one. We conducted an extensive search and kept returning to Inspired Living Bonita Springs. You may find aesthetically appealing community but remember, it’s the caregivers who will be taking care of mom or dad. We spent time talking with executive director Brett Marston and marketing director Debbie Schieber. We knew they were both new and wanted to know if they were just corporate change agents or commited for the long haul. They appeared sincere and commited to building a quality team to provide their residents with the best life possible. Over the last 4 months we have found Brett and his team to be transparent and forthcoming. Our concerns, which have been relatively minor, have been swiftly addressed. Brett is building a wonderfully compassionate and skilled team. This is a business where perfect is unattainable and it is challenging to provide over 50 cognitively impaired residents with quality care every day. The team, at all levels, is hands on. It is not uncommon to find Brett or Debbie, or the clinical leaders working with residents during meals. The activities team of three persons is well rounded to meet the various and changing needs of the residents. They are warm and engaging. The care team is friendly, approachable and when we’ve asked for assistance, none have ever said “that’s not my job.” Brett’s the first to admit “we’re not perfect” but they are quick to address any issues that may come up. The outdoor space is beautiful, peaceful and tremendous. We found no other place that could compare. We’re pleased and feel mom is in a good place.

The staff at Inspired Living is awesome! My Mom arrived at the community via air travel and her flight was delayed until late evening hours. The staff stayed late that night to roll out the red carpet for her. She is very happy at Inspired Living in Bonita Springs. I feel confident that she is getting the best care and grateful for the dedicated caregivers and staff!
