Fairly quick in and out. At least they buy aluminum cans. Don't bring steel here. About $0.10 / lb. less than the other scrap yards for copper. Nice clean operation. I love scrap yards.

Hi Kalla so sorry we closed due to an unexpected funeral. Was a last minute thing. We'll be open from 8 till noon tomorrow. Again my apologies.

I also have a collection of railroad spikes gathered from the Erie/Lacawana railroad (abandoned spur in up-state New York) Any value?

Marty Zuckerman | Nov 7, 2019

Hi Nancy, any railroad material is difficult by law you must have a release from the RR for that material before I can take it. I know that's difficult especially from NY but that's the law. If you have one I can buy them at 3/4 if a cent per lb. or .75 per hundred lbs. Sorry I cant be more help. Merry Christmas!

I have a pair of cast iron angle irons - about 12 inches square with Oak leaves and acorns; could be used for holding up a shelf or an awning. What is the approximate value?

Nancy Balavage | Nov 7, 2019
Thory Monsen | Nov 7, 2019

They buy scrap per 100 lbs. Doesn't sound like you have much. If you're looking for value other than scrap bring it to a pawn shop or donate it.
