While they are quick to respond/fix (2-3hours) a outage, the fact that the power is unstable is significant in the last 3 days I have lost power 4-5 times with each response taking 2-3 hours to “fix” only for it to happen again in 12hours or so

Service has been fine, but someone bought land behind our house to build on. My one neighbor gave permission for power poles to go on his property and they ended up having a ton of trees cleared from our land. They assured us it would only be a few but it was much much more. Had I not said anything they never would have notified us they were going to do so. They said they had “easement”, but they didn’t have anything for my land. Not sure how you can clear stuff off of someone’s property without even attempting to ask permission.

Horrible, their service charge is 100% equal to the amount of what you use ! “ if your electricity kilowatts goes to the amount of $200 their service charge is $199.” That is every month!! We love this area but paying every month a fortune on electricity not good!!

Is REC going to pay for the 75 dollars worth of food that I lost on sept.2 when the power went out at 2 a.m. and it's now 4:20 pm and no power. Why is if that every 2-3 hrs I get a text from this poor company, saying it would be 2-3 hrs more , so everyone up here didn't prepare for this long outage because of what REC was telling us. I don't think this is fair, and the couple of times I went to see if the tree had been cut up. All I saw was 5-7 guys standing around doing nothing!!!! Is this why we pay so much on on bills, to pay for guys to do nothing but " snoopervise"
