We love Lost Trail! This resort is open on weekends only, and the vibe is super laid back. The terrain is varied and offers something for everyone. The lifts might be a little harder for groms without a lot of experience to ride, but our kids didn't have issues (they were 7 and 9 the first time we visited). We look forward to returning to Lost Trail!

Lost Trail and other small resorts scattered through the West retain the love and sense of community within skiing that has been nearly eliminated by Vail and other mega ski areas. Please visit and cherish these hills and help out if you can. Fantastic terrain, wide sweeping views, and rattling chairs. A day here skiing trees and groomers makes me resentful towards the mega resorts with epic lift lines. Keep skiing fun and affordable and leave your ego at home! Thank you Lost Trail staff and ski patrol!

Lost Trail is a place to be FOUND. 😉 Snowboarding and sking here is always always great. I didn't catch the guys name (Saturday February 5th) at the snowboard shop but he was soooo great. He was working all by himself but doing it with a smile despite it all and was sooooo helpful. Thanks super guy you made a already good day great. Thanks.🙂🤜*🤛

We took beginner ski lessons with Rob and he was fantastic! A very patient, easy to understand and personable instructor. We were able to do one ski run and it was gorgeous.
