Absolutely the perfect ale house...and not just ales, but a well curated collection of ales, ciders, and mead. It's obvious that Sasha & Micheal have a passion for what they're doing. See the full story on our blog killintheemptynest.com

The real deal! What a great set up. Massive amount of beverages in the coolers (probably more than 10 in wall, large glass coolers like a 7-11 would have for beverages), from sodas to micro brews, wines, and mead (mead is not in the coolers, good call!), a bunch of beers on tap, and a great place to sit for a drink and some games, live music, or catching up with friends. If you're short on time, you can get your favorite obscurity and head home, or wherever, also. Micheal, Sasha, and Craig have a real passion for what they're doing, and it shows. Seriously, we need more places like this around.. please go and check it out. Support a truly local small business, that supports local musicians, local brews, and the local customer. Americana at its finest!

It’s been over 2 years since we’ve been able to cross the boarder back to Canada, without a lot of hassle. We live in White Rock, BC, a 5 minute drive from the Canada/ US boarder and pre-Covid we crossed ALL THE TIME, to visit our American friends. This weekend we managed to get down to Tacoma, with the easing of testing, and stumbled upon this tiny brewer. What a treat. Craig, behind the bar was super helpful, as we don’t know anything about the local brewery scene. Buddys Chicken & Waffles happened to be there and if you love chicken and waffles, there is no other. Bottom line. This place was amazing. Fantastic selection of beer, on tap, in cans, and 750ml bottles. Highly recommend!

Very chill with an excellent selection. Love the tap options always something new. They always have a more than usual number of ciders on tap for an alehouse. They don't have a kitchen but will have a food truck on the weekends. If you ask they will can their tap beer on the spot which is awesome if you want to save a seasonal favorite for later.
