Dave Shook is dedicated to those he serves in his role as Area Sales Manager for the Tacoma/Olympia Remedy Staffing office. Initially, he acquires a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements. Next, Dave verifies that the knowledge and skill set of vital Remedy Associates are always current and appropriate for the proposed opportunities. He then accurately promotes the applicable service solutions to key clientele and candidates, building and maintaining sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication. Dave provides insightful solutions, thoughtful alternatives, and attentive follow up to ensure that his business relationships continue to develop as expected. Dave never pushes his loyal Remedy Associates to the point where they no longer care, and the success of my current assignment would not be possible without the reliable leadership qualities I appreciate in Dave.

Remedy Staffing has False advertised. How many of you were told that they would take $10 from your first paycheck for taking the food handlers card? How many of you guys received a text asking if you received a email for your food handlers card??? Let me put it to you like this Remedy staffing told me to check my email and see if I ever got the email I never did and when I called in today to try and see what the deal was they said they don't pay for food handlers cards. WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU MEAN YOU GUYS DONT PAY FOR THE CARDS ANYMORE. YOU SPECIFICALLY TOLD ME IT WIULD COME OUT OF MY FIRST PAYCHECK AND THEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO TEXT ME ASKING ME IF I RECIEVED A EMAIL. WHEN YOU KNOW VERY WELL IT WAS NEVER PAID FOR. NOW I GOTTA WAIT TO PAY FOR THIS ON MY OWN BECAUSE REMEDY STAFFING TEMP AGENCY FALSE ADVERTIZED. DO NOT EVER TELL SOMEONE THAT THE CARD WOULD BE PAID FOR OUT OF YOUR FIRST PAYCHECK AND THEN ASK IF I RECIEVED A EMAIL KNOWING YOU GUYS DONT PAY FOR THEM ANYMORE. SO WHAT WAS THE CODE FOR IF IT WASNT GONNA BE PAID FOR??? A WASTE OF MY TIME AND I WONT EVER GO THROUGH THEM EVER AGAIN. OH AND DID I MENTION THEY DIDNT PAY ME FOR MY LAST DAY BECAUSE I WASNT SCHEDULED???? SMH

Very mixed emotions but the expectations are not very high since it is a temp agency. While working with some staff the office is very polite but the ones running the shifts on the jobs such as the almond roca factory fails to communicate effectively if you want and need work. Everyday you must text in at 11 and although you might text in everyday on time that does not mean that she will get back to you right away. If you are a provider of a family I would not recommend working here because they do not care to communicate in a timely fashion. The schedule is based on a daily attempt which means that work is not guaranteed unless you text in the day prior. Everyday I text in for my husband and she does not give the kind courtesy at times to say that shifts are not available so you are left hanging. Or sometimes she may text too late expecting to drop all things for the schedule. My end conclusion is that they are very unprofessional and truly meet the part of “temporary work”. Please seek other employment if you are a provider for your family because they do not do things as normal temp agencies would.

These people are very unorganized. Honestly, I feel that temp agencies are rabbit holes, and they are selective about who they place at job sites. Some of their practices are bordering on discrimination in nature, but a lot goes unnoticed because that is somewhat of an expectation from a temp agency. Remedy Staffing wastes people's time by not being upfront about what positions that are available. You waste time in a bullcrap orientation only to be placed on standby for a week or more. They don't tell you that majority of their work is at one place, and they over-hire for this one company alone, so one would be lucky to even be placed that day or week. If you can avoid Remedy Staffing, I would definitely do so. My experience is that they are not very forthcoming with those of us who have wasted our time, energy, and gas to be placed. Oh, and their system of communication is archaic: you have to TEXT(!!!) immediately at 1:00 p.m. to be placed for the following day, but you're still lucky if you're ever placed at all. My response to owner: Texting is not a reasonable form of communication when trying to resolve business matters. Also, it seems to me that some people have been complaining for over a year yet you have failed to properly address their concerns. My guess is that you ask them to text you their name and grievances only for you to remove them from your roster. I'm not sure about them, but I will not be wasting my time complaining to a company who has consistently shown that it doesn't care about it's temp employees. If you were authentically concerned, you all would have changed things by now. Change your system and practices, and I will immediately update my review.
