Koons kia is the worst dealership ever!! Worst customer service. They are unresponsive to phone calls and it took them 3 months to get license plates sent out!! Will never go to another koons dealership ever!!!

I have never experienced such a horror story with a dealership in my life. I came to this dealership from Maryland for a specific used car they had on their lot. I fell in love with the car, as it is my dream car, but was hesitant because of the over priced asking number for over 86K miles on the car. After a few days of discussion I came back to purchase. A week and a half later the check engine light comes on. After taking the car to a local Ford Dealership they tell me that my head gasket blew and I had coolant all in my cylinders. After TERRIBLE customer service from Kia Koons, I am forced to get the car towed to Koons Ford Woodbridge for the warranty work; which was AN ENTIRELY NEW MOTOR. Kia Koons wasn’t suit to do that kind of work. This process took 7 WEEKS! The first 3 weeks was simply my car sitting at Koons Ford because the team at Kia Koons would not send over paperwork or information to them in a timely manner so Koons Ford could start the work. When I finally got my car back from Koons Ford I was able to drive the car for 1.5 weeks then my entire clutch system gave out. After getting MULTIPLE inspections and opinions from certified Ford Transmission Techs I was told this was not my doing and that the Slave Cylinder and spring was damaged as a result from my motor work due to laziness and carelessness. I purchased a “Bumper to Bumper” third party extended warranty from Kia Koons and was told “Everything under the sun” was covered. Funny, not a single part of the clutch system for my MANUAL VEHICLE is covered. One would think that I would be informed on how a clutch for a manual car was not included in my highest grade warranty package.. This is now a project I have to handle out of pocket due to lack of communication. Even though I asked for clarification multiple times with witness. I have fought and fought with the warranty company and Kia Koons and received absolute disrespect and straight up was being ignored. A Ford Transmission Tech. even went out of his way to fight for me. I purchased my car on July 8th and have driven my car a total of 3.5 weeks, less then 1K miles since purchase date. Currently writing this review without the car in my possession because it is un-drivable and in a shop. Every single car payment I have made, the car has not been in my possession. This team does not call you back despite leaving messages and notes in every single department. This team withheld promised reimbursement checks for 7 weeks despite having proper photocopies of receipts and proof of confirmations. I will NEVER step foot on a Virginia dealership again and will advise everyone around me to do the same. Actually don’t know how you all sleep at night.

Our employees are prohibited from reporting to work without a 14 day self-quarantine if they have traveled outside the United States or to a high-impact area (as determined by the CDC) or if they have taken a cruise. Our employees have been instructed to use gloves and mats, as well as wipe down the interior of all guest vehicles.
As difficult as it may be, all of our employees have been instructed to avoid shaking hands with customers or co-workers. However, our friendliness and care for customer service will not diminish!
Yes! We have secured extra supplies of disinfectants, alcohol wipes, hand sanitizers and gloves for employee and guest use. If you are visiting one of our dealerships or service centers and would like to use any of these items, please ask.
We have increased the frequency and level of cleaning and disinfecting of our buildings, equipment and furniture, with special attention to high-touch surfaces.
