We chose the food bank for a food drive because they were hit really hard over the last few years. They give back to the community tenfold!!!

Very friendly volunteers, and they load you up pretty good. Great place to go if you've fallen on hard times.

The Port Angeles Food Bank is pretty darned great! They give you fresh & healthy food that really helps when things are tight on your pocket book. Plus help with pet food or baby supplys and feminine products when you request them, if they have them, usually they do. The people are very nice and the line doesn't take to long to drive through. Props to all of the hard working people who run it. They are so kind and helpful. They even load your car if you need help.

I'm glad you asked. They can volunteer but a parent or guardian would need to be with them.
Open Mon, Wed, Fri at 11am. Uses points system according to income and fam size. Have ID for all in fam and income proof when signing up.
While the food bank does begin the process at 1pm, it is on a first come first serve basis.. The line actually begins to form as early as 10 or 11am. If you can, show up early with a good book and make note of your place in line when you get there. Bring ID for the adults and SSN cards for everyone in the home.
Hi Laura, I am so sorry that the hours are not correct. I will figure out how to get them updated. The most current up to date info is always on facebook or our website. We are currently closed to do the drive being covered in snow and ice and cars were getting stuck.
We offer community service options. Please fill out an application. https://www.portangelesfoodbank.org/volunteer-application-covid19
Hi Michael, if you’re in Port Angeles you can get commodities at a few places. We have them and also Salvation Army. Have you visited us for food before?
You need IDs, no paperwork. they give for everyone in family.
My understanding is you can come once a month, but if you are experiencing homelessness you can get a smaller amount of food and go weekly.
yeah they accept pet food
They don't. The Catholic Church is doing a free Thanksgiving dinner.
The only shuttle I have seen is the paratransit and you have to be qualified for it through clallam county transit system either by age or disability. The food bank itself does not have a shuttle.
