Snappy Dragon is one of my favorite places to go for homey, satisfying Chinese food. My family has been going here for years and years, so we've got our favorites down. Their jiaozi are homemade and super juicy, and since I love leftovers, I like to get one order boiled and one frozen for later. Their homemade noodles are also chewy and satisfying, and we usually get them in the vegetable noodle soup (although their chow mein is also good!). I really like their mapo tofu, tea smoked duck, and asparagus in black bean sauce. This restaurant is honestly really nostalgic for me, and I like coming here when I want to eat myself into a comforting food coma. During the pandemic, my family switched to getting takeout, and Snappy Dragon definitely excels in that (they've always done a pretty brisk takeout business, even in pre-COVID times, so their proficiency makes sense). Everything we've ordered has been packed securely, and they use cardboard to support the boxes and prevent spilling. Definitely a family favorite that we'll keep returning to for years to come.

Sesame chicken had a lot of breading but that's how I like it. Tastes differ. Everything else, the portions are too big. Got the lunch special and between the appetizer, entree, and fried rice side dish for $12. I simply couldn't finish my meal. I can down a thin crust large pizza with little consequence but this meal was too much.

The crispy eggplant here is a must and sesame chicken is solid. Love the texture of the hand-pulled noodles, though they don't offer much flavor-wise. Delicious when mixed with sauces from other entrees. Edit: 5-star takeout experience this evening. Ordered the crispy eggplant, chow mein, and assorted vegetables. Garlic sauce was a little bland on the veggies but otherwise delicious.

We were on vacation for a week, and our AirB&B was in Maple Leaf, so Snappy Dragon was just a short walk. It was on a Sunday evening, so the place was pretty busy. About a 15 minute wait. With that being said, the wait was worth it. We started out with spring rolls and wontons. The wontons were absolutely delicious! Some of the best I've ever had. For entrees I ordered Sesame Chicken. Loved the sauce. The chicken is a good quality, not like typical Chinese restaurant in the South. My wife had the Sweet and Sour Chicken. It was unfortunately a little on the bland side, but still very good. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody in the area.

This is the only one that I know of. Haven't heard or seen a different branch of this restaurant (don't think they are a chain).
