I hate this place with a passion. It is very expensive, wasteful and environmentally unfriendly. You can often get the same exact products in Aldi or Food Lion for half (!) the price. While there is so much talk about environment and unnecessary food waste, they seem to throw out a lot of food and they do not even pretend they care. Also, it seems like this store is well stocked, because shelves are full, but there is a whole bunch of nothing on the shelves. The selection of anything healthy is very limited. They don't carry too many brands that offer minimally processed food without preservatives; you are better off driving to Trader Joes or Whole Foods in Asheville (it will be cheaper, too, even accounting for the price of gas). The staff is friendly; I never had a bad experience at deli counter. However, today I was buying some apples at self-checkout, and the machine said something like "customer service is needed for this item" and they checked my apples are really apples and the right type, which made me feel like a thief. I honestly go to this store as rarely as possible and only when I am in hurry or don't have a choice.

Ingles deli was once a quick, affordable, decent lunch or dinner option. The quality of food has been declining for some time now but after my experience this evening I have no plans to return. They were out of Mongolian beef and sesame chicken. The noodles were dry beyond being able to be eaten. The bbq pork is old, dried out and honestly isn’t fit to be consumed.

Came here from Chesapeake Va. To watch the 🎆 🎇 🧨 🎆 🎇 🧨.. The Fireworks were pretty lame but the grocery store and shopping center where pretty nice. Love the town to, so won't hold the wickity wack fireworks against you guys. The local college probably forgot to hire a real pyro and was training sone woke college students to do it. I will tell you about 5 miles past your town headed to Ashville someone was doing it at there house along the side of the road and 100 times better..😆 🤣 I do love your area and will be back again just not for a fireworks show. The guys in the buggy flying flags was the life of the fireworks show..
