Super Star
We've been camping here for years. Love this place. When I say camping I mean tent camping they have about 20 sites that are quite nice good distance between them you're not on top of people. This place also has small cabins about 15 of those as well summer a little more secluded than others some are pretty close to each other but they're all really nice. 50% of Holly Lake campground are dedicated to RVs. We've noticed over time that most of the RVs there have been there for years and rent continuously but have heard that there are open slots. We love the swimming pool it's great a lot of fun. Kids love the Friday night DJ and dance at the pool it's just a lot of fun even for us adults we really enjoy it the pool is large. And the Friday night dance and DJ includes pool games for kids and adults like slippery watermelon diving for toys etc they have beautiful waterways with seagulls and ducks and beautiful birds it's a large place they also have baby goats baby sheep inside the campground there's a large barn so that's really fun as well. There's a camp store with a tiny lunch counter where you can get really good breakfast and lunch it's vintage. There's a nice clean laundry building. This place has everything you need. It's about a 20-minute drive to the ocean if you're going to Cape henlopen. It's about 10 minutes to route 1 where you have access to all of the outlet stores and great restaurants and Sweet frog frozen yogurt our personal favorite. It's a really fun place we do love Holly lakes campground.

Awesome spot for a last minute camping trip with a friend. Really kind staff, we loved Kathleen! Perfect spot for beach goers, 15-20 mins to Dewey and Rehobeth beaches. Would definitely stay again :)

Ol MY GOSH...... I have never like camping until we stayed here. The staff is just AMAZING‼️ The guest that are here are very friendly and family oriented. We stayed in one of the cabins... Very very clean... I'll surely be coming back‼️ There's activities all the time or just sit back and enjoy your stay.. there's lots to do‼️

We have been going here for years. Great park overall and great value. The only thing I can really find fault with are the roads could use some maintenance and the bathhouses some updates (though they are quite adequate at present). Will be back and would recommend

Absolutely ! If you go most sites are pull troughs but follow the main road around till you get to the road the site is on
It's possible but not practical. Unless you're renting out two years in advance and it's during the off season. They may only have 6 cabins max.
The lake area is more a swampy pond area. Though there is no easy scientific explanation of the difference between pond and lake. The lake area is alot of wildlife and scenic views. Not the normal thought of an area to do watersports.
$3300 and up, depends on the site and amps you need.
You can get to the animals anytime there is parking on the side of the street and you can walk to the fences. We save cereal and bread and they'll come running!
yes I think it fit if not they have place to park them
Yes but negotiate a good rate if you know how long you're staying
Holly Lake Campsites is at it again. PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS!!! Does Kenny have something against the folks that live on Phillips Branch Rd? Stay with me here. This is GOOD!!! This weekend, we were invited to the camp by some friends who rent a lot. We jumped in the truck and went through the rear gate in front of our home. Our friends told us it was ok because they saw traffic moving through. Keep in mind, there is not one sign saying this gate is closed, and it's ALWAYS wide open. Here recently, there has been an enormous influx in traffic at the rear gate, as I can prove. Much more on that later. Once we get into camp, I noticed the usual way to our friend's camper is blocked, and there's no way around it. They are paving the roads. OOPS. We immediately move back to the exit, causing no damage to personnel or property. The pavement is hard and solid as a rock. Good job to those who did the work! As we near the rear gate, Kenny decides to run his tractor up on the rear of my truc
Not yet .July 1 hopefully
They are open year round, but water is turned off from the end of October until March.
Anytime, you just can't live there. We usually go down on the weekends.
Yes, but the water is shut off during the winter months.

I called and they told me 3 pm . would we be able to get in early and go swimming
Well, if your staying there they give you a badge like key to lift the gate, otherwise you have to park in the overflow lot

I've seen three on one site before. But I don't know the circumstances.
They have a Facebook page, I see a lot of sales on it. I'd start there!
No fishing on site and your fire has to stay inside the supplied ring.
Call the main office... Leave message, they should get back to you
There is no onsite fishing. Holy lake is about 10 to 20 minutes from several ocean fishing piers.
