Great amenities, activities, location with lots of trees wildlife etc. The staff works very hard to put on a great summer time for all.

This a beautiful campground. Sites themselves are small but level. Lauren the activities director is awesome!!! Lots of fun activities. Haunted trail was very well put together for the most part. Members service people were nice but didn't necessarily listen to what we were asking instead tried to push the most expensive upgrade package which is normal sales but still frustrating. All in all a great stay.

The campground was clean, inviting, and close to Hershey. The customer service however was a zero. We're a group of lifelong friends with kids who plan a once a year weekend getaway to be with each other. We booked months in advance explaining we wanted to be together and we're told we would be in cabins next to each other. We arrived to find out we were on the other side of the campground because they accidentally gave ours away. Stuff happens. We asked if we could be moved to the other side and they said we'll see what we can do we have to talk to so and so. They never came back to talk to us, never offered any type of compensation for there mistake, and made excuses rather than apologized. My family will not be visiting another thousand trails campground.

Judging by your literacy it is hard to believe your "question" but when I was there 2 weeks ago the roads "not toads" and sites were nice. My only issue was a lack of big sites.
They are dog friendly for sure. I was just there with our German Shepherd and they were really happy to see him.
Yes, both are available if you have a reservation to the campground. Can't say if they're available to the general public otherwise. You'd need to call the ranger station to find out.
I guess dogs are allowed and there're lots of sites for tents
No haunted trail, but there has been kids trick or treating
Hershey Thousand Trails is not open year round. Mid April to End of October approx. Age of camper is OK as far as I know. I have seen some old campers here.
Closing on 10/27/19
Yea they do and i believe they open at 9
There is hiking & biking near Mt Gretna. HersheyPark, Hershey Gardens and, Chocolate World are 20 minutes away. It is also about 20-30 minutes from the PA Rennesiance Fair. Indian Echo Caverns are close to Hershey in nearby Hummelstown.
Yes, there are some pull thru sites on the upper loop. However, the sites are all first come first serve for who gets them.
No you can not you are usually asked for photo id. You can take your friend as a guest but not let them use your card
Usually the second weekend of April.
