I made an appointment to meet with the owner and one of his employees to see the studio and hear some of their material. I was on time for my appointment. The studio was closed and locked when I got there (during their regular business hours) and no one answered the phone when I called. I don't know how good or bad the recording quality of this place is because I never got the tour. This doesn't seem like a place worth doing business with since they cannot seem to maintain their appointment calendar...

Pacific is a terrific studio. Quality vintage gear selection and engineers who know how to pull the best sounds out of artists and equipment. I love studio A for full band tracking. Very big drum sounds. I've tracked two records there with Alex Hart and have been very pleased. I've also done a couple sessions as a drum and guitar tech for friends. It's always a pleasure to work at Pacific. Mark also provides a great mastering service and CD duplications at a competitive rate. I love these guys.
