In addition to low quality construction (taping/spackling was horrible, windows not closing, damaged molding, floor panels separating, etc.), they actually forgot to put a second HVAC zone in the lower level, as per the contract. Instead they installed a cheap, split unit which was inadequate to heat the space and more costly to operate. Now they're offering people a whopping $2500 to sign a liability waiver. The Engel Burman Group is not providing a quality product, even though the residents are paying a premium price.
