Need to retrain your bus drivers. Today I was driving and the bus hadn't even reached the bus stop. Had probably another 100 feet to where the kids were standing. The bus while still going like 30 mph turned it's red lights on, swerved into the middle of the road almost running me off the road while honking like I was in the wrong. Two other cars behind me went through also because we were thinking it's like a bus normally should do. You keep yellow lights on until you come to a complete stop then turn red lights and signs on. If you're moving fast enough to serve into my lane and turning your red lights on then you're in the wrong. Cars can't slam on there brakes and get slammed into from behind because a bus driver doesn't know how to operate the bus.

THE WORSE! Call agents are rude , always hanging up the phone, and provide inaccurate information. Supervisor doesn’t even care didn’t even let me express my concerns and issues. Bus is never on time and the app is inconsistent! For those with no cars this is a great inconvenience on our children learning.

We love Savanna Ridge Elementary. The staff and teachers were great to my kids. The St. Lucie public transportation department has not seemed to care about the safety of our children. My 6 year old daughter was traumatized by a bus driver a couple weeks ago when he was at the Boys and Girls club on prima vista. She was waiting for her sister to come off the bus because she was taking too long. When she went to enter the bus to look for her the bus driver (Mr .Delroy) closed the door on her leg and she was stuck for almost a minute. She was screaming to be let go and scared and the bus driver did not render aid, he just released the door and that’s when her sister exited the bus. They conducted a full investigation and luckily the aftercare had it all on the video so I was able to see it for myself. They took care of my daughter which I truly appreciated. The driver and transportation department took absolutely no responsibility for what happened and claimed the driver did not know what happened. My fear is what if this happens again and my daughter or any other child gets dragged by a bus causing serious harm or worse. We have to rely on transportation for our children even our elementary school children I feel the bus drivers need to be held accountable for things when they happen under THEIR care. I reported the incident to Mr. Hardenson and so did the aftercare, and he did not seem empathetic at all, he didn’t even believe it happened at first until the aftercare sent them their video . He wasn’t concerned about my 6 year old daughter or that his bus driver was negligent, he took no responsibility. I just wanted to write this post as a frustrated and terrified parent because I am scared for our young children on these buses. No one was held accountable and I’m afraid it will only happen if something worse happens.

I don't think they go on Midway Road,YOU have TO call the District TO find out.
Call St Lucie county 772-340-7120. If this is his first year at Central open house should be able to help you also. there is also a "here comes the bus" app which will keep you updated on where your son's bus is during the route. Hope this helps you.
Go onto the St Lucie County School website to apply.
No there is too much red tape. Give it to a thrift store for resale for a good cause. Like, restore, which benefits habitat for humanity, or humane society.
Yes, he can switch buses.
