Very friendly staff. They truly care about all of the animals that they have. Drop by and find your future fur baby!

Wonderful staff Update 10/22 I do not know who decided to revise Paws and Claws adoption page, but it is extremely difficult to maneuver.

Take to Liberty Wildlife next time.
no such thing. any place that claims it is a no kill simply means they send out their animals to have them euthanized. This place is considered a LOW kill center.
That's a lame answer Ma'am.
Do you have any kittens now for adoption looking for female around 8 wks
It's 24 care. Less stress on the animals. It's very loving and caring shelter. If it is important to you, make time to be there the hours that they are open. Call and leave a message they do return calls.
Yes they will and do take donations. Every bit helps
I would call them.
They will only take stays of you live in aj .
Every Tuesday between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.. Yes they give proof of vaccinations.
no, they are not a vet service however they do have a mobile vet who utilizes their lot once a week. See mashvet.net
Please contact me he has one line of white on chest correct?
Yes I think it wud b calming to them, and they deserve to b comfortable, when they don't no their future. They don't no what's going on. So yes is the answer!
Yes they will accept it
I would call I'm sure they would like help
I looked for apache junction animal control and clicked on the paws and claws link and scrolled down to adoptable dogs and followed the link from there
Yes
I have no idea...I would call them and ask. Good luck!
Contact them directly
I've noticed the same, and yet this past Saturday while out, we were at the intersection of phelps and the trail, the electronic sign said they were having an adoption fair at the shoppers located at ironwood and the trail. Go figure!
They can't say that because it depends on the dog and families want to adopt a dog if the dog is loving and adorable but I'm sure it'll be adopted early but it's a no-kill shelter so
They do provide the service but I forget how much. There are a few places that put them down, check around in Mesa
A few times a year they have specials. Reduced fees. Call them to find out when.
It is my understanding that they are a branch of the police. So, if you report it to the police; in effect -- you are reporting police staff to police staff (hmmm - wonder how affective that will be). There must be a better option. Maybe a good question for city council (?)
They are picky. You ha e to lie say you found them. We went to get help for food for my Kat and they said my cat could not have food as my dogs shots were past due byt 2 months. So I said they ha e to starve I'm in here having a bit Har time and u do this. They are horrible. Not nice
What do you mean cats are “feral”? Cats she be kept indoors and found a good home with responsible owners!
No I dont believe they do. But you can call and double check.
They may take them you have to check after they open
You'd have to call them or go down there to see if they have it
I was given a flyer for a TNR program last week in Pinal County in Apache Junction. I got the flyer from Paws and Claws. So yes they do have a TNR program which info can be obtained from Paws and Claws in Apache Junction
Tuesdays
They do take surrenders buy not sure what they charge
Yes they do. You need to call and get a appointment. The cost is minimal, compared to a veterinarian. They are very loving and caring. I am so sorry about your dog. You both will be in my prayers.
Go to Altered Tails in Mesa. They are alot cheaper. They do them weekly. Sometimes they have funding
Pickup the book called The Veterinarians' guide to Natural Remedies for dogs. By Martin Zucker. This book doesn't replace veterinary medical care or any therapeutic program recommend by a veterinarian. Pleurisy Root for kennel cough or bronchitis. Liquid tincture form. Winter Sun Trading Post. 107 N. San Francisco St., Flagstaff, AZ 86001. (929) 774-2884. They take credit cards, debit cards over the phone, and ship fast. Cost is 2 oz bottle/dropper is $20.95+ tax $1.87+ s/h $6.95 = $29.78. It really works! Doses are 1 to 3 times a day. (Small dog's) 1 to 5 drops diluted in a teaspoon of water; (Medium dogs) 10 to 15 drops in a tablespoon of water; (Large dogs) 30 to 40 drops in 2 tablespoons of water. Use additional water, along with honey, as previously described, for a slightly sweet taste that dogs will accept.
Yes.
I believe paws and claws does it but not sure how mich or if there are specific days
You will definitely have to call Paws and Claws on that one.
Give them a call. They'll be happy to help.
Yes it does
No but for a small fee
I'm sure you can, but I would call ahead first
I would go to your vet for sure. We just got a 6 wk old pup and our vet said they hv to do it in 4 different visits. One price but we can split the pmnt into 2 pmnts.
