I was very happy to be accepted into Iora Primary Care. Thought I’d found a special place for medical care.....I was mistaken. At the initial interview Dr Frank listened carefully.....asked good questions....made notes. I had questions, those were mentioned in the print out I walked away with. I returned to the new appointment, Dec 26th.....to learn the the details of the lab work I’d had done two months earlier in another state. I could see areas of concern. Dec26th the therapist was waiting for me....I had an hour appointment with her? I wonder if Dr Frank was even there. And my lab work was not there, either. A wasted trip to the clinic. No one called to alert me. So I was given another appointment Jan 13, to discuss my labs....and get an answer to question I’d asked in the interview. Yesterday, I received a voice mail....cancelling the Jan 13 appointment ....my labs had been reviewed and since I’d declined taking a statin...There was nothing further to discuss! What about my questions? Just how closely we’re my labs reviewed? I’m very disappointed with the combination of interactions and bewildered at my next steps. This is not an outstanding wellness clinic ......in my experience.

Difficult to get medication refills, and medical evaluation for specific issues. Seemed to be the unconcerned with medical findings. Not a preventive healthcare approach.

When I moved to Surprise from Scottsdale, I needed to find a new PCP. I prefer female doctors & Dr. Frank was on my Insurance. From the first appointment on, I was listened to by both Tenaya & Dr. Frank & extensive notes were taken & put into my file. The appointments are quickly scheduled as well as labs & radiology. I was made to feel comfortable & not hurried during my appointment time & no long waits to see the doctor.

Dr Connally-Frank has been my primary care doctor since Dec 2017. She really listens to me and wants her patients to be involved and knowledgeable in their care. Many doctors seem distracted but not her. She speaks clearly and frankly.

We are a primary care doctor’s office for adults on Medicare. We offer in person, video and telephone visits for patients. Our patients have access to a Behavioral Health Specialist on-site. Our patients are also able to access an One Medical Seniors provider 24/7 by phone for urgent needs after business hours or on the weekends. We also have on-site laboratories and we provide exercise and health and wellness group classes.

We are open and welcoming new patients, and remain on call for our patients 24/7. While COVID-19 remains a threat, especially for older adults, we are encouraging video visits as the best first option for most care. For patients in need of in-person care, we are taking measures to safeguard the health of our patients and care teams in our practices. This includes cleaning the exam room after every appointment, wearing personal protective equipment, as well as requiring patients to wear masks when they are at the practice.
We can partner with any specialist that is in your insurance network. If you have existing relationships with specialists, great! Feel free to keep them. If not, we can recommend one.
While we are not affiliated with any hospital, we can work with any hospital that is within your network and we can coordinate with your loved ones to help ensure you are getting the care you need.
