My recent experience here was really upsetting. I came in due to chronic pelvic pain that had intensified and localized. Dr. Roger Wang's bedside manner was terrible - I was completely calm upon coming in but the way he treated me and talked over me launched me into a panic attack. I felt like I wasnt able to advocate for myself and the testing I needed because of how I was treated, so I received a pelvic exam and swabs that I didnt need or want (this is repeat testing I've already received) and no blood work or imaging (the reason I came here instead of urgent care was urgent care said I may need imaging that they couldnt provide and I told Dr Wang this). I was asked if I wanted pain medication and I specifically said no because I have an addict in my household. Looked at my discharge paperwork and I was prescribed an opiod - oh great, I will not be filling. I plan to fight the charges I receive from this visit and discuss my experience with anyone at swedish who will listen because I felt completely talked over/talked down to. If the prescribing of this medication has an associated charge I will be fighting it since I specifically declined pain meds. I was seen July 13, 2022 3:42pm according to my paperwork. Check in staff deserve a shout out because they were so great and friendly and the original male nurse that did my vitals.

Worst experience in blood drop center at 5th floor. Lady is raciest. She was too much loud with all non white people. Can’t accept such behavior in any hospital.

It was my first time working with Swedish and I had a good experience overall. I got all the tests I asked for and the wait wasn’t too long. The PA I worked with was very informative and gentle, I appreciate that a lot. The person working at the lab was nice and pleasant. Parking was fine. I’m glad I gave them a try.

Impressive campus with views from upper floors. Lots of shops in the lobby /1st floor and they are checking Covid status as you enter. Parking in surface lots is free up to 4 hours — what a pleasant change from $4/hr parking at the First Hill or Cherry Hill campuses!
