We’ve lived here over 1-1/2 years now. It has its own feeling of community, separate from Issaquah. That’s partly due to the size and space between buildings with walkways across the commons areas. I love that it is adjacent to Confluence Park, which is pretty large and a great place to walk and view nature (wildlife along the creek, large variety of flowering plants, nice shelter area with picnic tables). Maintenance of the 20 some buildings is to be commended. Recent improvements include exterior painting of all buildings, insulation added to all, restriping parking stalls, repairing walkways where trip hazards had arisen among them. Landscaping is performed weekly. Trees are also cared for, pruning bushes and removing any dead trees. Management is very friendly and seems to know everyone’s names. Maintenance staff responds promptly when you report issues within your apartment. In short, we are pleased to live at Gilman Square apartments.

I always give Hayden and Herschel high marks for repairs. They're quick, thorough and super friendly. As well the gals in the office are very responsive. And the fact that my apartment backs up to a greenbelt and park is a real bonus. The sound of little league games are my ambient sounds of summer.

No Respect For Female Tenants. Maintenance Ignores Women Around Here. Shastina Financially Pays The Bills Here Not Me. Two (2) Grown Adults Reside Here Not Just Only One (1).

RENTERS BEWARE!!!! I have been a resident here for almost 5 years, (looking to move asap) I didn't have problems with the property until about 1 year ago. Which is odd because the owners (security properties residential) are the same and so are the managers (leasing agents) who work here. The facts are these: 1. They send out notice after notice to inform residents work is being done. It doesn't. 2. 3rd party workers they hire are hostile and swear at residents (because they show up days after the date & time put on the notice) 3. The workers they hire (that are background checked*) damage your property. 4. Maintinence allows access to your home and workers leave the door open after they leave. *my neighbors door was left open with the bottom latch busted in. 5. Improper towing of vehicles from paid parking spaces! 6. Not disclosing pertinent info in notices. 7. The office never knows what is happening around the property. 8. No walk through check list, ***you will pay for damages when you can finally leave! 9. If you need something fixed, replaced, repaired they won't. I have needed new carpet for a good 2 years now, tack strips are exposed everywhere, bubbling of the carpet etc. I have put in work orders before and they are dismissed or marked complete whether the job was done or not. (Maybe they get credit for numbers?) I have extreme PTSD from an incident here recently. I received a notice of the insulation being upgraded (energy efficient), no one came. (Notice was for a monday) Thursday I came home for lunch and heard a loud bang, walked around the corner to look and my patio door slammed into the wall behind it (with my property removed from my outer storage) I was staring at a full grown man with a mask over his face, dark glasses, and a white suit that covered him head to toe. I was scared and asked why he was here. (I live on the top floor) said for the insulation job. 3 DAYS AFTER THE NOTICE! For your own peace of mind find somewhere better to rest your head at night. It's an awful place. Pics attached for condition of building after insulation company "upgraded" (I won't mention they had to come back and redo the job)
