Dr. Reader is an okay doctor. His wife, "the help", Helen, leaves much to be desired however. She's a bitter and toxic person. I really couldn't understand how a woman, one that's like 80 years old and a broken hip away from a nursing home, could be so petty and childish. I can't imagine being rude to someone that's only ever been polite towards me. Even after her rudeness, I continued to be polite and she continued to be childish and petty. Her rudeness was always carefully done in such a way that if she were confronted you already knew she'd pretend to not know what you're talking about, or pretend it was an honest mistake, but the whole thing was very transparent nonetheless. Doing things like asking how your name was pronounced just so she could mis-pronounce it. It seemed pretty unbelievable at first, but that's exactly what it was. Utterly bizarre, I know. It didn't take long before I decided that even though he's a decent doctor, I would just find another one. The whole thing left a funny taste in my mouth. I'm just not big enough to let it go unanswered, unfortunately. I'm still in recovery, after all. One thing that bothered me was how they made you pay for the appointment before you ever saw the doctor. So if he decided, for some reason, to not write you a script that day then you're out $150 for a fifteen minute appointment. You'd have paid $150 to talk to the doctor for fifteen minutes.

Wow!!! What a great experience!! I’m so happy we switched to this doctor’s office!! The doctor is so caring, he takes the time to listen and doesn’t rush you…I’m so relieved we found this doctor. Oh and don’t let me forget Helen, she is the one who answers the phone, she is patient, polite, helpful and so sweet. We got an appointment the next day…. So many positives about this office!! Highly recommend, I wish I could give 10 STARS!!!!

Dr. Reader and Helen are one of a kind!! If your looking for a new doctor I cant recommend Dr Reader enough. Judgement free, kind, extremely efficient, and affordable. I only wish I found him sooner!
