We visited here this past weekend because we are new to the area and looking for a church home. The music and preaching were great. They have a concession stand with food, candy, coffee, etc. which is pretty awesome too. The problem we had was with the nursery. We have two 20 month old boys. We found the nursery and went to drop the boys off. Our first red flag was that we couldn’t just check them in at the nursery. We had to take our boys and all of their stuff across the campus to register the kids and then walk back across the campus to bring them back. The lady at the registration desk put in the wrong date of birth for one of the kids so one tag said 20 months, the other said 11 months. I just figured, whatever. It doesn’t matter. This was not a deal breaker but it is not a smooth process for new guests. Second red flag was when we dropped the boys off, they obviously started crying and the nursery lady harshly said “oh you two are fine, you have each other”. We picked the boys up and got home. I looked in their diaper bag and realized that their diapers had not been changed. Needless to say, we won’t be back which is frustrating but my kids take priority. If I don’t feel comfortable leaving them, it’s not the church. The search continues.
