Less than stellar build quality , insects and poor customer service from management and maintenance

If the high rent doesn’t get you, the scorpions will. Prior to new management changes we really enjoyed living at the Optima Sonoran village. However, new management personnel has serious customer service issues and a lack of empathy towards tenant complaints. We have had 10 scorpions in our unit alone since June, and we have recently learned that this is a serious problem amongst other tenants in our building. When I originally raised my scorpion concerns to management back in June, as my girlfriend was stung by a scorpion that was in our bed, management lied to me about it being resolved, and the office personnel “took offense to my offense”. Get it together Optima staff. The well being and safety of your tenants depends on it.

Just moved in and we love the building construction and the residents so far. We have had a few issues in regards to our unit not being ready. There were a lot of items that still needed to be addressed and were not done by the time we moved in. Now we are being inconvenienced while they try and make the repairs. The gate to the parking garage seem to always be broken. The doors to access elevators is broken, so there is not much security. Also we have had issues with the internet company getting setup. The internet provider has been no help! Hopefully after all repairs are completed we can enjoy the unit. The reason for 3 stars vs 1 is management team and Heather our rep has been amazing and responsive.

Almost perfect, could improve on little things, needs music at the pool, needs updates on plants in the halls by elevators, better technicians to repair stuff but overall it’s beautiful and I love living here.
